The hotel was completely full... way too crowded! Waiting two hours to get into the buffet and another hour for food straight from the stovetop is far too long! There was very little choice at the buffet, and it was much too small for the number of people using it. The pools were clear and reasonably clean. I was only able to change my beach towel once all week! There was never anyone available to change it. In my room, towels and sheets were changed as needed. The housekeeper came every day for a superficial cleaning... a squashed cockroach on the floor remained there until I cleaned it up. I had a dehumidifier (which I emptied twice a day) in my room, and there was still a musty smell. One bottle of water per day and toilet paper were readily available. However, the toilets on the property didn't have toilet paper. The à la carte restaurants were decent, with a special mention for the Japanese restaurant! The beach and sea are nothing like those of Cayo Coco or Varadero; everything is darker. The resort staff are friendly and helpful. Good cocktails at the quiet pool bar. It's a 2-hour drive from the airport.
Hôtel rempli à pleine capacité...beaucoup trop de monde! Attendre 2 heures pour entrer au buffet et 1 heure pour avoir de la nourriture directement de la plaque, c'est trop long! Très peu de choix au buffet et il est vraiment trop petit pour le nombre de personnes qui s'y trouvent. Piscines claires et tout de même propres. Je n'ai pu changer ma serviette de plage qu'une seule fois de toute la semaine! Il n'y avait jamais personne pour la changer. À ma chambre, serviettes et draps changés au besoin. La femme de chambre passait à tous les jours pour un nettoyage superficiel...une coquerelle écrasée sur le plancher y est restée jusqu'à ce que je nettoie le tout. J'avais un déshumidificateur (que je vidais 2 fois par jour) dans ma chambre et il y avait tout de même une odeur de moisissure. Une bouteille d'eau par jour et papier de toilette disponible sans problème. Toutefois, sur le site les toilettes n'ont pas de papier. Les restaurants à la carte sont corrects, un petit plus au japonais! La plage et la mer ne ressemblent pas à celles de Cayo Coco ou de Varadero, tout est plus foncé. Employés du site gentils et serviables. Bons cocktails au bar de la piscine tranquille. 2 heures de route pour s'y rendre de l'aéroport.

The rooms are very nice and clean. We know that buffets in Cuba aren't great, but this one was the worst I've ever experienced. The beach isn't very nice either. You have to walk quite a way to find beautiful, crystal-clear water. Otherwise, the overall atmosphere is very good, and I still enjoyed my stay because the weather was beautiful and warm for Christmas week. It's okay, but I wouldn't go back.
Les chambres sont très belles et propres. On sait qu'à Cuba les buffets ne sont pas supers, mais celui-ci est le pire que j'ai connu. La plage n'est pas très belle non plus. Il faut marcher plus loin pour trouver une belle eau cristalline. Sinon, l'ambiance générale est très bien, j'ai quand même apprécié mon séjour car il faisait très beau et chaud pour la semaine de Noël. C'est ok, mais je n'y retournerai pas.

I had a lovely week, arriving the day before Christmas. For the first three days, the buffet was a nightmare, a real jungle with endless waits. Two hours into the buffet, an hour's wait for pasta or anything else. And what was self-service disappeared in a minute. No fruits or vegetables except grated carrots. After the first few days, there were fewer people, so the experience was much better, although you still have to be very patient. Also, during the first few days after my arrival, the sea was brown and full of trash and sargassum seaweed. My boys went swimming and got covered in trash. We had to step over hundreds of pieces of garbage while walking on the beach. Again, it cleared up during the week. So it allowed me to see the hotel's potential when it's less busy, and I really appreciated it, to the point where I would go back. My room was very humid, but the rooms of the other guests I met were fine. The pool wasn't very clean. The hotel's surroundings are magnificent: mountains in the distance, lush vegetation, and the fact that it's not crammed onto other hotels. The drive there is beautiful, and there's a nice selection of alcohol. My room was clean. There were no vendors on the beach. These are all things that made me enjoy my week.
Jai passé une belle semaine, arrivée la veille de Noel, durant les 3 premiers jours cetait l'enfer au buffet, une vrai jungle et de l'attente interminable, 2h rentrer dans le buffet, 1h d'attente pour des pâtes ou autre. Et ce qui etait en libre service disparaissait en 1 minute. Aucun fruits/légumes a part des carottes râpés. Apres les premiers jours passés il y avait un peu moins de gens donc l'expérience etait déjà beaucoup mieux malgré quil faut être tres patient. Aussi encore les premiers jours de mon arrivé la mer etait brune et remplie de déchets et de sargasses. Mes garçons se baignaient et recevaient des déchets sur eux. Il fallait enjamber des centaines de dechets en marchant sur la plage. Encore la cest s'est replacé au courant de la semaine. Donc ca m'a permis de voir le potentiel de l'hôtel lorsqu'elle est moins occupée et jai bien apprécié, au point où j'y retournerais.

Piscine pas tres propre.
L'environnement de l'hôtel est magnifique les montagnes au loin la végétation, ne pas être collé sur d'autres hôtels, Antilla, le route pour se rendre est de toute beauté, bel sélection d'alcool. Propreté de ma chambre. Aucun vendeur sur la plage. Sont tous les points qui m'ont fait apprécier ma semaine.
