Positive: very positive attention to Daniela and Luis at the cafe near the central bar. Everyone was very nice. But they deserve an A ++ Negative: Drink very low in alcohol and taste almost all the same lime or lemon juice

Positive: Hotel sickening, deserves its five stars. The service is impeccable, the staff always smiling and pleasant. The food is excellent. This is a hotel that we recommend. Negative: Beach not very broad, very américannisé.

Positive: Very nice hotel, rooms are really beautiful and all face the sea. The food is really good and there's something for all tastes. The service is excellent and it is beyond our expectations. We got serve breakfast to our room almost every day and it was excellent and hot! Negative: Check-in is quite long. And what we most desperately is that they make the booking over and it seems to be fairly regular in their case. There were several couples like us, they had no rooms available for us when we arrived and we were relocated to the hotel next door called the Gran Caribe, which is also their responsibility. They have relocated for one night and the rest of the week we got our room at The Royal. We were very disappointed with this approach, not only this hotel was less highly rated but it was more like family. So farewell tranquility! The beach is eternal reconstruction, they pump the sand off and there are workers who carry sand with boilers. So there is not much room to expand or to walk on the beach. No Mexican music either. Farewell the scenery! Even at night the lobby groups are singing the music of the 80s. Many renovations also, they are redoing the rooms of the 8 th floor to make smaller rooms. So it is quite noisy until the 18h day.

Positif : Très bel hôtel , les chambres sont vraiment superbes et font toutes face à la mer . La bouffe est vraiment très bonne et il y en a pour tous les gôuts. Le service est excellent et c`est au-delà de nos espérances. On s`est fait servir le déjeuner à notre chambre presque à tous les jours et c`était excellent et chaud ! Négatif : Le check-in est assez long . Et ce qui nous a désespéré le plus c`est qu`ils font de l`over booking et ça semble être assez régulier dans leur cas . Il y avait plusieurs couples comme nous , ils n`avaient aucune chambre de disponible pour nous à notre arrivée et ils nous ont relocalisé à l`hôtel à côté qui s`appelle le Gran Caribe , qui leur appartient également . Ils nous ont relocalisé pour une nuit et le reste de la semaine nous avons eu notre chambre à The Royal . Nous avons été très déçus de cette façon de faire , non seulement cet hôtel était moins bien coté mais en plus c`était de type familial . Donc adieu la tranquilité !
La plage est en éternel reconstruction , ils pompent du sable au large et il y a des travailleurs qui transportent le sable avec des chaudières. Donc il n`y a pas beaucoup de place pour s`étendre ou pour marcher sur la plage .
Pas de musique mexicaine non plus . Adieu le dépaysement ! Même le soir au lobby ce sont des groupes qui chantent de la musique des années 80 .
Beaucoup de rénovations aussi , ils sont tout en train de refaire les chambres du 8 ième étage pour en faire des chambres plus petites . Donc c`est assez bruyant jusqu`à 18h le jour .
