It's a Wow! This hotel meets all our expectations.
C’est un WoW! Cet hôtel répond à toutes nos attentes
Despite the good price we paid for the stay, we have to pay an extra $5 USD at the hotel checkout per night for a city tax of some kind: for cleaning the beach in Cancun. Tourist cards, you have to get those too: about $18 USD per person.
Malgré le bon prix qu’on a payé pour le séjour, il faut payer un extra 5$ USD au Checkout de l’hôtel par nuit pour une taxe de ville quelconque : pour le nettoyage de la plage à Cancun. Cartes touristiques , il faut se procurer ça aussi : environ 18$ USD par personne.

I had stayed in the Coral area - this part is not renewed, the rooms are old - the bathroom installations too, the Á/C is loud and not remote control (you need to wake up if you want to stop it) , thé hallway and elevators have no A/C, thé pictures look better and they are from the Coral area which is not the family area. Thé staff is amazing and the buffet is really good - thé restaurants are not great , greasy food and simple . As I said, the staff makes for it . Although my room wasn’t really clean (toilette had stains) , they fixed it but the fact is that I had to ask .

Repetitive buffet, very ordinary food. The villas' bedrooms and bathrooms are not up to date, renovations required. Beds are comfortable. The site is very clean.
Buffut repetitive, nourriture tres ordinair. Les chambres et salles de bain des villas ne sont pas au gout du jour, renovations requises. Lits sont confortables. Le site est tres propre.

We stayed with family and children and our experience was disappointing. All the negative comments you see are true! The buffet was good but redundant. There is not much entertainment, the shows are very boring. No Michael Jackson shows or anything else...really boring, even my children found the shows boring. Old hotel, rooms not very clean. There was mold, stains on the walls, broken shower head, clogged toilet, air conditioning that makes a lot of noise. The beach is beautiful but is not safe for children, too many waves. The pools are cold, especially the one for children. I am disappointed with this Iberostar, I do not recommend it and I will not return. A big 6.5 out of 10.

Il n'y a pas beaucoup d'animation, les spectacles sont très ennuyeux. Aucun show de micheal jackson ou autre...vraiment plate ,meme mes enfants trouvaient les shows ennuyeux.
Hotel viellot, chambres pas très propres. Il y avait de la moisissure, des taches sur les mura, pomme de douche brisé, toilette bouché, climatisation qui fait beaucoup de bruit.
La plage est belle mais n"est pas sécuritairw pour les enfants, trop de vagues.
Les piscines sont froides, surtout celui pour les enfants.
Je suis décue de ce iberostar, je ne le recommande pas et je n'y retournerai pas.un gros 6.5 sur 10.

It was a week of vacation that was a rollercoaster ride.
Ce fut une semaine de vacances passée en dents de scie.
The sun wasn't always there. The food was ordinary except on Christmas Eve. Cleanliness is everywhere. The room was perfect. Family atmosphere with lots of children. The only problem was the beach in front of the hotel, which was littered with large rocks that prevented us from accessing the sea, the waves of which are always impressive for the uninitiated. So, for those interested, take note! Thank you, Angevin couple.
Le soleil n était pas tout le temps au rendez-vous. La nourriture ordinaire sauf veille de Noel. La propreté est partout. La chambre parfaite. Ambiance familiale avec beaucoup d enfants. Le seul HIC c est la plage face à l hotel qui est jonchée de grosses roches qui nous empéchent d accéder à la mer dont les vagues sont toujours impressionnantes pour les non initiés . Donc avis aux intéressés! Merci couple angevin.
