Iberostar Selection Playa Mita

We love this place, even if the sand isn't white like the Riviera Maya! It's magnificent! I went to Hawaii and the vegetation was so vibrant! Thank you

It's a small resort, so we quickly saw everything, but it was perfect for a 4-day stay. The food is good, both at the buffets and the à la carte restaurants. The pool is nice, but we wish there was more than one (there's a second one, but it's for activities like volleyball and water polo). The staff is welcoming and courteous; they do everything they can to help. Booking restaurants is easy, and two of the à la carte restaurants don't have reservations, so it's first come, first served.

Il s'agit d'un petit complexe alors on a rapidement fait le tour mais c'était parfait pour un séjour de 4 jours. La nourriture est bonne, tant aux buffets qu'aux restaurants a la carte. La piscine est agréable mais on aurait aimé qu'il y en ait plus qu'une (il y en a une seconde mais pour les activités comme le volleyball et le waterpolo). Le personnel est accueillant et courtois, ils font tout ce qu'ils peuvent pour donner un coup de main. La réservation des restaurants y est facile et 2 des restaurants a la carte sont sans réservation, donc premiers arrivés premiers servis.

The hotel is not new, but it is very well maintained, you can always see an employee washing/repainting/repairing. Very very clean. Superb location away from everything, so very peaceful surrounded by nature. You can walk for a long time on the beach. The Pacific Ocean is rougher than on the eastern side of Mexico. Our favorite is the food, generally excellent, lots of choice, quality both in the à la carte restaurants (unlimited) and in the buffets. The wine was quite good and the cocktails generous. Beautiful pools, we never lacked chairs both on the beach and by the pool. It costs a little more than the 4 stars, but we had friends recommend the Iberostar and we agree that it is worth it.

L'hotel n'est pas neuf, mais il est très bien entretenu, on voit toujours un employé en train de laver/repeindre/réparer. Très très propre. Superbe site loin de tout, donc très tranquille entouré de nature. On peut marcher longtemps sur la plage. Mer du pacifique est plus agitée que du coté est du Mexique. Notre coup de coeur est pour la bouffe, globalement excellente, beaucoup de choix, de qualité autant dans les restos à la carte (illimités) que dans les buffets. Le vin était plutot bien et les cocktails généreux. Belles piscines, on n'a jamais manqué de chaises autant sur la plage qu'au bord de la piscine. Ca coûte un peu plus que les 4 étoiles, mais on s'était fait recommander les Iberostar par des amis et on est bien d'accord que ça en vaut la peine.

We loved our stay at the Iberostar Selection Playa Mita. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is excellent, with lots of healthy options. The entertainment and activities are very enjoyable. There are some really good shows, including some for children; my 4-year-old son loved them. I definitely recommend this hotel. However, be aware that it's not the Caribbean Sea, so it's rougher. The sand is very beautiful, however, and it's still swimmable.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Iberostar Sélection Playa Mita. L'hôtel est magnifique, très propre. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et serviable. La nourriture est excellente, beaucoup d'options santé. L'animation et les activités sont très agréables. Quelques spectacles vraiment bien, dont certains pour les enfants, mon fils de 4 ans a adoré. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésiter. Toutefois, il faut savoir que ce n'est pas la mer des Caraïbes, donc plus mouvementée. Le sable est très beau cependant et c'est tout de même baignable.

It's a super nice hotel. I would go back now that I know a few things. Do not participate in the loyalty program (big sales pressure). 90 minutes of wasted time. Especially since it wasn't presented to us that way. Do not go to the steakhouse restaurant. Very bad. Leave the resort by taxi. Sayolita Wow. San Pancho wow. There are gems nearby. The beach is beautiful on the site. The bars are too. For people who like the tranquility of the beach it's wonderful. The hotel is very beautiful. Do not take the tour in Puerto Vallarta from the hotel. They take you to places to buy instead of letting you visit on your own.

C’est un super bel hôtel. J’y retournais maintenant que je sais certaines choses. Ne pas participer au loyalty program (grosse vente sous pression). 90 min de pertes de temps. Surtout que ça nous ait pas présenté de cette façon. Ne pas aller au restaurant steak house. Très mauvais. Sortez du resort en taxi. Sayolita WoW. San pancho wow. Il y’a des perles aux alentours. La plage est magnifique sur le site. Les bars le sont aussi. Pour les gens qui aiment la tranquillité sur la plage c’est merveilleux. L’hôtel est très beau. Ne pas faire le tour à puerto Vallarta de l’hôtel. Ils vous amènent à des endroits pour acheter au lieu de vous laisser visiter seules.
