A welcoming hotel, excellent food, and a secluded beach.
Hôtel chaleureux, nourriture excellente et plage intimiste
The hotel has a lovely colonial feel. Very clean. The food is excellent, and the beach with its trees and palapas is truly beautiful, even if the water isn't turquoise and we encountered some sargassum seaweed—just bad luck. A rocky outcrop in front of the hotel is perfect for snorkeling. We loved this hotel.
L'hôtel a un bel aspect colonial. Très propre. La nourriture est excellente et la plage avec ses arbres et ses palapas est vraiment belle même si l'eau n'est pas turquoise et que nous avons eu des sargasses, c'est la faute à pas de chance. Un rocher devant permet le snorkeling. Nous avons adorés cet hôtel.

Really great, with one "but".
Vraiment Super avec un « mais »
Everything was really great and many would go back without hesitation. Highlights: food, cleanliness, and pool. Personally, I wouldn't go back because the beach isn't very nice and there's no entertainment for children in the evenings. Also, there aren't many good shows. It all depends on your tastes!

It was an ok resort
It was an ok resort
The resort was okay. The redeeming factor was mainly the staff at the resort minus the front desk. My husband and I were underwhelmed with our room. The safe was not reset and the batteries were dead. We called about it and someone showed up 4 hours later when we went to the beach. There was a storm and some water got inside our room, too. There were also bats on the balcony in the evenings and they ruined some of our bathing suits with their poop drops and all over the balcony and balcony walls. We told the front desk hoping they could give us another room but they did not. This ruined our evenings as we like to sit out on the balcony. Another issue we had was the beach was full of rocks and could easily hurt ourselves. My husband got scraped a little too. We also did not appreciate the meeting we had one morning. They Told us it would be until 10:30AM and it went on from 9AM to 12:30PM. It felt like being pressured to make a financial decision within that time frame. Honestly, we are looking for one night refund considering all these issues.
