It's raining... there's nothing to be done.
Il pleut....il n'y a Rien à faire
Varadero is a beautiful, pleasant and safe city...definitely don't go to Havana...The people are very harassing and some are aggressive to such an extent that our visit ended on the bus earlier than planned.
Varadero est une belle ville agréable et sécuritaire....n'allez surtout pas à la Havane....Les gens sonts très très harcelants et certains sont agressifs à tel point que Notre visite s'est terminée dans l'autobus plus tôt que prévu.

The hotel needs major renovation.
Rooms were old;mattress was soft and saggy,no complimentary drinks in the fridge, light was dimmed and flickering, when AC is on, bad odour was present, bathroom toilet water pressure was weak and wouldn't flush properly especially when you do no.2, tub was old and had stains, shower water pressure was low and not enough hot water for 4 ppl to shower, the waiter and waittesses were nice and friendly. Most of the staffs at the bars were not friendly and seemed cold and unwelcoming. Buffet food was repetitive everyday. Pool was smaller than expected and not quite clean. The resort was small and not much to do around. The Beach was nice and not too rocky and that is the only thing we enjoyed. Lots of shades and lounge chair by the beach. We enjoyed our walks by the beach. Unfortunately, we won't be returning unless they do major renovation in the future.

besoin d'amour
It was a nice experience, but the corridors at the top of the hotel are in dire need of renovation. Otherwise, it was quite acceptable. Personally, I don't spend all day in my room, so as long as it's clean, that's fine.
