Disappointing!

Overall, we were disappointed with our stay at the Impressive Punta Cana. What disappointed us most was the service. Honestly, we always felt like we were bothering them. Avoiding eye contact, giving inane answers, and above all, a truly unpleasant attitude. I filed a complaint in their internal survey, and no one attempted to contact us to resolve the situation. There was no on-site supervision; the employees seemed left to their own devices and unsure of what to do. We had to chase after the utensil tray in the morning just to get breakfast. Ridiculous! I shouldn't have to fight to find utensils and coffee. The resort is clean, and the landscaping is beautiful. The pool was often dirty, and the beach was full of sargassum seaweed (not anyone's fault, but still disappointing). The rooms are okay, the beds are comfortable, but the bathroom was dirty (stained walls) and outdated. The food was okay, but repetitive. It was pre-prepared and reheated, lacking flavor, and the buffet was often empty. The à la carte restaurants weren't much better. The only positives were the Coffee Shop, open all day, and the Snack Bar, which offered hot dogs, pizzas, and burgers until late at night. Bars – the worst service in the resort, especially at the pool. The male bartenders only served young women, and vice versa. My partner could wait 30 minutes for a drink, while all the other women were served before him. The drinks were mediocre, and they often mentioned they were out of ingredients. In short, a disappointing experience. I strongly advise you to book elsewhere or choose the Premium option, which seems better than the regular one.

More... Less...Ce qui nous a le plus déçu est le service. Honnêtement, on avait l'impression de toujours les déranger. Des évitements du regard, des réponses bêtes et surtout une attitude vraiment désagréable. J'ai fait une plainte dans leur sondage interne, et personne n'a tenté de nous contacter pour résoudre la situation. Aucune supervision sur place, les employés semblent laissés à eux-mêmes et ne pas savoir quoi faire. Il fallait courir après le plateau d'ustensiles le matin pour réussir à déjeuner. Ridicule! Je ne devrais pas avoir à me battre pour trouver des ustensiles et du café.
Le resort est propre, la végétation est belle. La piscine était souvent sale, et la plage était remplie de sargasses (pas la faute de personne, mais quand même décevant). Les chambres sont OK, lits confortables mais la salle de bain était sale (mur tachés) et vieillotte.
Nourriture - OK, mais redondante. Aliments préparés d'avance et réchauffés, aucune saveur et souvent il manquait de nourriture dans le buffet. Les restos à la carte n'étaient pas vraiment meilleurs. Les seuls points positifs étaient le Coffee Shop, ouvert toute la journée et le Snack Bar qui offrait des hot-dogs, pizzas et burgers jusqu'à tard le soir.
Bars - Pire service du resort, surtout celui de la piscine. Les barmans masculins servent seulement les jeunes femmes et vice-versa. Mon conjoint pouvait attendre 30 minutes pour obtenir un drink, alors que toute la gente féminine se faisait servir avant lui. Les drinks sont ordinaires, et ils nous mentionnaient souvent ne plus avoir les ingrédients pour les faire.
Bref, expérience décevante. Je vous conseille fortement de réserver ailleurs, ou de choisir l'option Premium, qui semble mieux que l'option régulière.

Great vacation overall

A warm welcome in the lobby, quick service, and even a complimentary cocktail in French upon arrival! Our room, on the first floor, was poorly insulated; we could hear everything in the corridor, and the air conditioning was faulty. The TV signal kept dropping... but the coffee maker was handy, and the fridge stocked with water, liquor, and beer was much appreciated. The bed and bedding were comfortable, the bathroom was nice and practical, and the safety features worked well. We had a lovely view from the balcony overlooking the garden and the sea. In August, the beach water was less inviting due to sargassum seaweed, and despite the net, the water was brown. The buffet was better than the à la carte restaurants. There were plenty of activities, a great atmosphere, good shows, and an exceptional coffee shop. The staff were generally very welcoming and friendly. The price was reasonable.
Bel accueil au lobby , rapide , traduction en français en plus avec un ti cocktail en arrivant ! Notre chambre étant au 1 , était mal isolé, on entend tout ds le corridor et la climatisation était déficiente . La tv perdait le signal .. mais cafetière accommodante, frigo avec eau liqueur et bière , très apprécié. Lit confortable ainsi que la literie , belle salle de bain pratique , safety bien fonctionnel . Belle vu sur balcon côté jardin tout en voyant la mer .en août , l eau de la plage est moins belle avec sargasses malgré le filet , l eau était brune . Buffet meilleur que les restos à la carte. Bcp d activité, belles ambiances , beaux spectacle et un coffee shop exceptionnel.Le personnel très accueillant et gentil en général. Qualité prix était raisonnable.

Pleasantly surprised
Agréablement surpris
A pleasant trip. The resort is clean, and the staff are friendly but speak little or no French/English. The resort makes a great effort to clean up the sargassum seaweed daily. The air conditioning in the rooms is inadequate. The biggest disappointment was the limited variety of fruit at breakfast. The restaurants are excellent, with the exception of the Mexican restaurant, whose food lacked flavor.
Voyage agréable. Le site est propre, personnel sympathique mais ne parle pas ou peu français/anglais.le site fait de grand effort pour nettoyer les sargasses quotidiennement. La climatisation dans les chambres est déficiente. La plus grande déception est le peu de variété de fruits au déjeuner. Les restaurants sont excellents à l’exception du mexicain dont la nourriture manque de goût .
