We just returned from our stay at Krystal Grand Cancun !
I was there alone with my 14-year-old daughter and we both absolutely loved it. We stayed in room 1408, which was very clean with a beautiful ocean view. The food throughout the resort was excellent — a real highlight, including the Japanese restaurant where the sushi is delicious, as well as the pool snack bar, which was also very good.
Big highlight for the “Take a Bite”: fresh pastries, donuts, sandwiches, coffees (including lattes), and afternoon sorbets (mandarin, coconut, lime, mango). Very original and absolutely delicious!
The beach is stunning with very white sand and an exceptional ocean: clear blue water with no seaweed. However, there can sometimes be strong waves.
It was very easy to find chairs at the beach, but more difficult at the pool (not enough loungers). The service is excellent at both the beach and pool, with servers constantly coming by. However, service in the buffet are a bit slower.
We had a small issue during the first two days with Sunwing, but the hotel staff were incredible, very helpful, and made us feel safe and supported.
Overall service is outstanding: reception and staff are very attentive.
Great location: about a 5-minute walk to downtown, with lots of restaurants, activities, and bars nearby, including Coco Bongo less than 5 minutes away. There is also a large flea market with many small shops close by.
As for daytime activities, there is a bit of a lack of animation: for example, a volleyball net was set up in the pool, but there was no ball to play.
Points to improve: elevators and evening entertainment, which is a bit repetitive. I did really enjoy the fire show, but the other nights were mostly karaoke or dancing.
We absolutely loved our trip and highly recommend this hotel — we will definitely be back! 🌴☀️🌞

Je voyageais seule avec ma fille de 14 ans et nous avons toutes les deux adoré. Nous étions dans la chambre 1408, très propre, avec une vue magnifique sur l’océan.
La nourriture dans l’ensemble du complexe était excellente — un vrai point fort ! Le restaurant japonais s’est démarqué avec des sushis délicieux, et le snack-bar de la piscine était aussi très bon.
Mention spéciale pour “Take a Bite” : pâtisseries fraîches, beignes, sandwichs, cafés (dont des lattés), ainsi que des sorbets en après-midi (mandarine, noix de coco, lime, mangue). Très original et absolument délicieux !
La plage est magnifique, avec un sable blanc et une eau bleu clair cristalline — aucune algue. Par contre, il peut parfois y avoir de fortes vagues.
Il était toujours facile de trouver des chaises à la plage, mais un peu plus difficile à la piscine en raison du nombre limité de chaises longues. Le service à la plage et à la piscine est excellent, avec du personnel attentif qui passe régulièrement. Le service au buffet est toutefois un peu plus lent.
Nous avons eu un petit problème avec Sunwing Airlines lors des deux premiers jours, mais le personnel de l’hôtel a été incroyable : très aidant et rassurant.
L’emplacement est idéal : à environ 5 minutes à pied du centre-ville, avec de nombreux restaurants, activités et boutiques à proximité, dont Coco Bongo à quelques minutes seulement. Il y a aussi un grand marché aux puces tout près.
Côté activités de jour, il manque un peu d’animation — par exemple, un filet de volleyball était installé dans la piscine, mais il n’y avait pas de ballon.
Points à améliorer : les ascenseurs et les spectacles en soirée, qui sont un peu répétitifs. Par contre, le spectacle de feu était excellent !
Au final, nous avons adoré notre voyage et recommandons fortement cet hôtel. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter ! 🌴☀️💛
