Krystal Ixtapa

We just returned from a 2-week stay at the Krystal and will be returning next year for a stay of probably 3 weeks. The employees are all courteous, competent, polite, respectful and so on. The 3 a la carte restaurants are excellent, the cleanliness of the site and the rooms is remarkable. The beach is beautiful but swimming in the sea is not recommended. Finally, we recommend the Krystal Ixtapa to anyone without hesitation.

Nous revenons tout juste d'un séjour de 2 semaines au Krystal et nous y retournerons l'an prochain pour un séjour de probablement 3 semaines. Les employés (es) sont tous et toutes courtois, compétent, poli, respectueux et j'en passe. Les 3 restaurants a la carte sont excellents, la proprété du site et des chambres est remarquables. La plage est magnifique mais la baignade en mer n'est pas recommendés. Finalement nous recommandons le Krystal Ixtapa a n'importe qui sans hésitation

Very clean hotel. Very helpful, smiling, and courteous staff. Servers: Martin, Omar, Jaime are very kind. Omar makes an effort to converse in French. Bartender: Laurenzo is special. Very friendly, always kind and smiling. Special mention to Xavier as well. Activities, games: Only in Spanish, no English or French. It is obvious that they greatly favor local vacationers. For the others, it is very boring. We practically do not exist. They make no effort to include us in the games. Several people (English and French speakers) who were there at the same time as us were disappointed with the games and buffets. Because as far as the buffets are concerned, it is almost like Cuba. Really not very good. The à la carte restaurants, on the other hand, were excellent. The Bogart is very good, and the atmosphere is magnificent. What a beautiful, enchanting and chic decor. The Paseo is also excellent in terms of food. The Italian restaurant is ordinary. This one disappointed everyone I spoke to. Personally, I would not return to this hotel. If you are not Mexican, it is a bit boring. The beach, however, is beautiful. The waves are strong, but not too strong.

Hotel très propre. Personnel très serviable, souriant et courtois. Serveurs,: Martin, Omar, Jaime sont très gentils. Omar fait des efforts pour converser en français. Barman: Laurenzo est spécial. Très amical, toujours gentil et souriant. Mention spécial à Xavier également, Acitivités, jeux: Seulement en espagnol, pas d'anglais, ni français. Il est évident qu'ils favorisent grandement les vacanciers locaux. Pour les autres, c'est très ennuyeux. Nous n'existons pratiquement pas. Ils ne font aucun effort pour nous intégrer aux jeux. Plusieurs personnes (Anglophones et francophone) qui y étaient en même temps que nous, ont été déçus au niveau des jeux et des buffets. Car pour ce qui est des buffets, c'est presque comme Cuba. Vraiment pas très bon. Les restaurants à la carte par contre, c'était excellent. Le Bogart, c'est très bon, et l' ambiance est magnifique. Quel beau décor enchanteur et chic. Le Paseo, est excellent aussi côté nourriture. Le restaurant italien est ordinaire de son côté. Celui-là a un peu déçu un peu tout le monde à qui j'ai parlé. Personnellement, je ne retournerai pas à cet hotel. Si nous ne sommes pas mexicains, c'est un peu ennuyeux. La plage par compte est magnifique. Les vagues sont fortes , mais pas trop.

During my visit in March 2023, the waves were powerful, which I like. The water was impeccable. The pool was nice too. Quite a few Mexicans were on vacation during my visit. Three à la carte restaurants are offered: Bogart, Cinque Terre, and Paseo. The food is exquisite, and we were able to reserve our seven dinners at these three restaurants. A magnetic room access card and a towel card are offered to each vacationer. A small Econoline-sized bus takes us to the town of Zihuaneto in about 15 minutes. The bus costs only 17 pesos (approx. $1.25). The hotel has a great view of the sea! Parasailing ($37) and jet skiing were available on the beach.

Lors de mon passage en mars 2023, les vagues étaient puissantes, ce que j'aime bien. Le fond de l'eau était impeccable. La piscine était agréable aussi. Pas mal de Mexicains étaient en vacances lors de mon passage. Trois restaurants à la carte sont offerts: Bogart, Cinque Terre et Paseo. La bouffe y est exquise et on a pu réserver nos sept soupers dans ces trois restaurants. Une carte magnétique d'accès à la chambre ainsi qu'une carte pour une serviette sont offertes à chaque vacancier. Un petit bus au format Éconoline nous amène à la ville de Zihuaneto en quelques 15 minutes. Le bus ne coûte que 17 pesos (approx. 1.25$). La vue sur la mer de l'hôtel est super! Des activités de parasailing (37$) et de motomarine étaient disponibles sur la plage.

Overall it was very pleasant, we enjoyed walking around the city, it was safe and beautiful. Positive: spectacular sea view!! perfect balcony, clean environment, friendly staff. very clean pool. The children enjoyed the water slide (there was a breakage, so no slide for 2 days) Negative: big wave, impossible to let children swim... buffet not too good, little choice. there were no activities.

en gros ce fut très plaisant, nous avons apprécié marcher dans la ville, c'était sécuritaire et magnifique. Positif : vue sur mer spectaculaire!! balcon parfait, environnement propre, personnel chaleureux .
piscine très propre. Les enfants ont appréciés la glissade d'eau( il y a eu un bris, donc pas de glissade pendant 2 jours) Négatif : grosse vague, impossible de laisser baigner des enfants...
buffet pas trop bon, peu de choix.
il n'y avait pas d'activité.
