We had a wonderful week. The service was incredible, the room was perfect, and the food was really good. We ate so much! At any time of day, there were chairs available in the shade by the pool. No waiting at the bars or restaurants. Wristbands to open the room: very convenient. There's a pool with activities and a quiet pool. Everything is close together (restaurants, bars, pools, rooms). For tips, we exchanged Canadian dollars for US dollars at the casino. There are small shows at the lobby bar every evening from 8 pm to 10 pm. The white and red wines are very good. We wanted for nothing. We were treated like royalty! Obviously, we didn't go to the beach; people who ventured into the sea were coming out with jellyfish stings. It looked painful. We did go to the pool… it was 37°C.
Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse. Le service est incroyable, la chambre est parfaite, la nourriture est vraiment bonne. Nous avons tellement mangé ! À toute heure du jour, il y avait des chaises disponibles à l’ombre près de la piscine. Aucune attente, ni aux bars ni aux restaurants. Bracelets pour ouvrir la chambre: très pratique. Il y a une piscine avec animation et une piscine calme. Tout est proche (restaurants, bars, piscines, chambres). Pour le pourboire, nous avons changé de l’argent canadien en us au casino. Il y a des petits spectacles au bar du lobby tous les soirs de 20h à 22h. Le vin blanc et le vin rouge sont très bons. Nous n’avons manqué de rien. Nous étions traités comme des rois!
More... Less...Évidemment nous n’avons pas fait de plage, les gens qui s’aventuraient dans la mer ressortaient avec des piqûres de méduse. Ç’a avait l’air douloureux. Nous avons fait de la piscine… il faisait 37C.

Beautiful place but the sea was repulsive.

Almost everything is perfect, with one exception. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The room is spacious and very clean. The buffet is generally very good, and the à la carte restaurants are excellent. The staff is generally very attentive but could be more cheerful. The beach is pleasant with plenty of chairs and palapas, as well as numerous palm trees. However, the major drawback is the sea; the water is brown with silt, seaweed, and other debris on the bottom. It feels like swimming in a cesspool. In addition, there were many jellyfish. For this reason, despite the undeniable qualities of this hotel, we will not be returning to the Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville.
Tout y est presque parfait à une exception près. Le site est magnifique et très bien entretenu. La chambre est spacieuse et très propre. Le buffet est très bon dans l'ensemble et les restaurants à la carte sont excellents. Le personnel en général est au petit soin mais pourrait être plus souriant. La plage est agréable avec beaucoup de chaises et de palapas ainsi que de nombreux palmiers. Par contre, LE GROS POINT NÉGATIF c'est la mer, l’eau est marron avec de la vase, des algues et autres objets dans le fond. On a l'impression de se baigner dans une fosse sceptique. En plus, il y avait beaucoup de méduses. Pour cette raison, malgré les qualités indéniables de cet hôtel, nous ne retournerons pas au Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville.

Very beautiful resort. You go there for everything except to see the turquoise sea.
Très bea resort. Tu vas là pour tout sauf pour voir la mer turquoise.
Everything was perfect… the only less pleasant thing was that the sea water wasn't turquoise because a river flows into the sea next to the hotel. The water was cloudy and white. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.
Tout étais parfait… une seul chose étais moin agréable etait que l’eau de la mer n’etait pas turquoise du au fait qu’une rivière se jette dans la mer à côté de l’hôtel. L’eau était blanche brouillée. Sinon le reste etait parfait.
