Formerly known as the Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay, the hotel changed its name on March 26, 2026.

The Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay is a prestigious, adults-only, all-inclusive resort located on a beautiful, secluded beach in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. This 5-star hotel is approximately 40 miles (64 km) from Montego Bay Airport. Stay in one of the spacious suites, featuring marble floors, chic and soothing beige tones, and upscale amenities such as whirlpool tubs. Some suites even offer ocean views, and complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.

The service is impeccable. Everything is spotless. The buffet is delicious, and so is the Indian restaurant. I liked the Las Olas restaurant a little less at lunchtime. The pools are super clean. I would have given the beach a 10 if the family-friendly section had been open.

Not enough music and a lack of activities. There were long periods of downtime where nothing was happening at the hotel. The beach was practically non-existent.
