Absolutely fantastic for resting
Vraiment génial pour le repos
A very safe, inexpensive place ($1400 single occupancy) and tastefully decorated. The service is impeccable and the food excellent despite the small size of the buffet. This hotel is very clean. Some renovations are planned for September and October. The sea is very rough, so we only enjoyed the pool, which offers a breathtaking view of Samana Bay. A great place to pamper yourself with a massage ($80 USD for 90 minutes) and read good novels! The cocktails are all excellent and high quality: Aperol, mojito, sangria, etc. The wine, however, is not up to the standard of this resort (neither the white, rosé, nor red). A section of the buffet is open between 3 pm and 6 pm for light snacks: fries, chicken strips, cheese sticks, nachos. I will definitely return! This is not a hotel for partygoers and poolside revelers.
More...

Excellent for the price
Excellent pour le prix
We had a wonderful week. Objectively, the room wasn't very big, the minibar was empty, and we were promised two reservations at the à la carte restaurants, but we didn't receive any. However, the buffet was very good until they moved it because it wasn't busy enough. The beach is private and very well maintained. The resort is very clean but could use some renovations. The view is superb, and the staff are very friendly and efficient. There's no organized entertainment. If you're young and like to play sports and party, this isn't the place for you, but for a couple without children who enjoy the beach and want to reconnect, it's perfect for the price. We had a wonderful week because we didn't focus on the negatives. I took the catamaran excursion to the caves and mangroves and Cayo Levantado with a French-speaking guide for $130 USD per person… It wasn't a catamaran, and we were the only French-speaking couple on the boat. There were two Spanish-speaking families with us. The explanations in Spanish were twice as long as in French, there was no alcohol on the boat, and Cayo Levantado is a rip-off. In short, I don't recommend it. I have to say there were some interesting things to see, but for the price, no, it's not worth it. The resort itself isn't a 5-star, not even close, but for the price, it was fantastic. My wife really enjoyed it and would go back anytime.

Good hotel
Bon hotel
Overall, it's a good hotel. However, there's almost no entertainment or activities, either during the day or in the evening. The atmosphere is very quiet. The staff is very kind, welcoming, and helpful.

I loved it!
J’ai adoré!
It's a small, quiet resort. Exactly what I needed. The only downside was the food. The buffet lacked variety, and the number of reservations allowed at the à la carte restaurants was too limited. Otherwise, it was perfect!
