We had a wonderful trip. We wanted to relax and enjoy a sea free of sargassum, and that's exactly what we got. The seabed is beautiful sand without any rocks, but be aware of the waves—if you like them, you'll get them! The hotel is a colonial-style establishment, a few years old, but very clean, and some of the furniture, like in the lobby, has recently been replaced. There are many stairs to get to the beach and the pool, but since the beach isn't very wide for walking, climbing the stairs is a good form of exercise! There's only one pool, with a good depth of about 10 feet at one end. Great for swimming. The spa area is very peaceful with a few lounge chairs and relaxing music. It's not a place for people with reduced mobility. The small buffet has a lot of choices, and we ate very well. The two à la carte restaurants are good. I recommend it if you want peace and quiet in a small resort.

Nous avons fait un très beau voyage, nous voulions nous reposer et avoir une mer sans sargasse, c’est ce que nous avons eu. Le fond de l’eau est un beau sable sans roche mais attention aux vagues, si vous aimez vous en aurez ! Hotel de style colonial qui date de quelques années mais très propre et certains meubles comme au lobby ont récemment été changées.

Beaucoup d’escaliers pour aller à la plage et à la piscine mais comme la plage n’est pas grande pour marcher alors les escaliers, c’est l’exercice que l’on peut faire ! Une seule piscine avec une bonne profondeur à une extrémité, environs 10 pieds. Super pour nager. Coin spa très tranquille avec quelques transats et musique relaxante.

Ce n’est pas un endroit pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.

Petit buffet avec beaucoup de choix, nous avons très bien mangé. Les restaurants à la carte (2) sont biens.

Je recommande, si vous voulez de la tranquillité et un petit site.

The hotel is truly beautiful and offers a magnificent sea view. The vegetation is lush, and the staff is very kind and courteous. Unfortunately, the beach was very disappointing during our visit. We experienced a red flag for five days, with strong winds and very rough waves. However, there were never any shortages of beach chairs. For someone with reduced mobility, this is not a recommended place because there are many stairs to reach the beach and various areas of the hotel. We ate very well at the restaurants, and the buffet offered a wide variety of choices. The proximity to the road means it can be noisy in some areas, depending on the location of your room and the beach. In short, it's not a place I would return to, as a beautiful, quiet beach with plenty of shade remains my priority.

L'hôtel est vraiment très beau et offre une magnifique vue sur la mer, la végétation est abondante et le personnel est très gentil et courtois. Malheureusement, la plage était très décevante lors de notre visite. Nous avons eu droit à un drapeau rouge durant 5 jours, beaucoup de vent et de vagues très fortes. Par contre, il n'y manquait jamais de chaises . Pour une personne à mobilité réduite, ce n'est pas un endroit recommandé car il y a beaucoup d'escaliers pour se rendre à la plage et pour accéder à différents endroits dans l'hôtel. Nous avons très bien mangé aux restaurants et le choix était très varié au buffet. La proximité de la route fait que ça peut être bruyant à certains endroits, tout dépendant où se trouve votre chambre ainsi qu'à la plage. En somme, ce n'est pas un endroit où je retournerais car une belle plage tranquille avec beaucoup d'ombre reste ma priorité .

As expected, a small and quiet resort, perfect for families with children. About an hour's drive from AZS airport. There are several steps on the property, it's true, but for those without mobility issues, it's a great way to stay in shape and more than makes up for it with drinks throughout the week! The rooms and the resort in general were very clean. It was always easy to find a chair without having to get up at 6 am. I recommend it for those who want to relax in peace.

A charming and quiet little resort located on a hill, which means going up and down stairs to get to the beach. There is an elevator to the rooms. It's very clean, the grounds are lush and beautiful, with a lovely view. Although my room didn't have a balcony, I could admire the view of Samana from the window. The buffet was also very nice, offering a glimpse of Samana life. The buffet is small but very good with a wide variety of dishes. I didn't try the restaurants; there are two, so I can't comment on them. The beach isn't very large but is very clean, although the sea was quite rough. There's a lifeguard on the beach. The pool is very clean. Perhaps it could use a little more shade. There's a bar by the pool. There's no snack bar or coffee shop. There aren't really any options for eating between meals. For your first coffee of the morning, if you're an early riser before 7:00 AM, there aren't really any options besides the coffee maker in the room, which is just a coffee maker. However, at the buffet around 6:45 AM, you can get coffee before breakfast. My room was very well cleaned every day. There were bottled water bottles in the small refrigerator. The staff could be a bit more friendly, but the service was good. There are no activities on the resort, neither during the day nor in the evening. There was a singer and a musician performing during the week in the evenings. No water sports are available. There are no vendors on the beach except for excursions and the hotel spa. Go without hesitation if your goal is tranquility; if you want to have fun and party, forget it!

Petit complexe charmant et tranquille situé à hauteur ce qui implique de monter et descendre les escaliers pour aller à la plage il y a une ascenseur pour monter au chambres c'est très propre le terrain a beaucoup de végétation très beau très belle vue. Malgré que ma chambre était sans balcon, par la fenêtre je pouvais admirer la vie de Samana très beau au buffet nous pouvons aussi admirer l'abus de Samana. Le buffet est petit mais très bon avec plusieurs variétés. Je n'ai pas essayé les restaurants il y en a deux je ne peux pas en parler. La page n'est pas très grande mais très propre la mère était quand même assez agitée. Il y a un surveillant sur la plage. Il y a une piscine très propre. Il manque peut-être un peu d'ombre à la piscine. Il y a un bar près de la piscine. Il n'y a pas de snack bar ou de bar café. Il n'y a pas vraiment de possibilités de manger entre les repas. Pour le premier café du matin si vous êtes un lève-tôt avant 7h il n'y a pas vraiment de possibilités à part la cafetière dans la chambre qui est une cafetière cependant au buffet vers les 6h45 le matin on peut obtenir un café avant de déjeuner. Ma chambre était très bien nettoyée à tous les jours. Soldes bouteilles d'eau dans le petit frigidaire. Le personnel manque un peu de sourire mais le service c'est bon. Il n'y a aucune activité sur le site autant le jour que le soir il y a eu une chanteuse et un musicien au courant de la semaine pour le soir. Aucune activité nautique sur place. Aucun vendeur sur la plage à part pour les excursions et le spa de l'hôtel. Allez-y sans crainte si votre objectif est la tranquillité si vous voulez vous amuser et faire un peu la fête oublier!
