Mayan Princess Beach

Very nice hotel, it's a shame we no longer have access to the à la carte restaurant!

We are travelers used to different places, from high-end to low-end. We had already been to the Mayan Pricess 2 other times and knew that it was quite basic but correct on points, this time we even moved hotels before the end of our stay. The reception service is very basic and not explanatory and answers you, I don't know where unknown options of possible package, no restaurant included in the all-inclusive package, only a buffet which is ok and very basic with themes each evening not really respected but ok in a hotel of this category, a VERY CAFETERIA atmosphere with no music and very bright white lights and hear the plastic plates and cardboard cups with nothing on the tables, you have to go get the utensils yourself in rolled napkins, VERY VERY VERY basic and get your soft drink or juice from the fountain yourself at the back of the cafeteria. the snack, nothing but hot fried junk and reactions like bothering them when you want something with a sigh. At the bar they are very nice but with the means of the basic bar and served in waxed cardboard where there is no more of this or that / I think I am in basic Cuba. Fortunately some employees are nice. The Las Sirenas package room, phew, very very small and creaky bed, mattress that you feel the springs, 3/4 bed and decor more than 20 years old half broken, the image is not exaggerated at all, that's it. The swimming pools are very good and beautiful and generally maintained, despite the lack of tiles in several places. They put their money / investment on the image of the networks and the SIMON club but totally false and especially not accessible as a resident, you have to pay to eat there, only at the bar when you do not disturb them. Almost non-existent activity where locals come to play a bit of island music and stop every song to look for the next one, endless silences and very basic kareoke, dancers who pass the hats after 15 minutes of show if we can call it a show and a fire show by locals that we have to pay, anything. Hotel with potential with better management and need of a major investment on everything everything everything Beautiful vegetation which allows to hide here and there the rest. We went 5 nights to another COMPLETELY DIFFERENT and high-end hotel close to the Kimpton Grand rotating and EXTRAORDINARY all day and night with this. It's up to you to decide and good luck and have a good vacation.

nous sommes des voyageurs habitués a différents endroits ,de haut de gamme a bas de gammes .
Nous avions déja été au Mayan Pricess 2 autres fois et savions que c'étais assez de base mais correct sur des points , cette fois ci nous avons même déménagé d'hotel avant la fin de notre séjour .
Le service de la réception très de base et pas explicatif et te répondent ,je sais pas ou des options non connues de forfait possible , aucun resto d'inclus dans le forfait tout inclus , seulement un buffet qui est ok et très de base avec des thématiques a chaque soir pas vraiment respecté mais ok en t'en qu'une hotel de cette catégorie, une ambiance TRÈS CAFÉTÉRIA avec aucune musique et de lumières très claire blanche et entendre les assiette en plastique et verre de carton sans rien sur les tables , tu dois aller chercher les ustensile toi même dans des napkins roulées, TRÈS TRÈS TRÈS de base et chercher ta boisson gazeuse ou jus en fontaine toi même au fond de la cafétéria .
le snak ,que des cochonneries frites pas chaudes et des réactions comme de leur déranger quand tu veux de quoi avec soupire .

Au bar ils sont très gentils mais avec les moyens du bar de base et servi dans du carton ciré ou il en a plus de ci ou de ca / je me crois a cuba de base .
Heureusement que certains employées sont gentils .

Les chambre forfait Las Sirenas ,ouf de chez ouf ,Très très petite et lit qui grince ,matelas que tu sens les ressorts,lit 3/4 et déco de plus de 20 ans a moitié brisé ,l'image est pas exagéré du tout ,c'est ca .

Les piscine sont très bien et belles et en général entretenues, malgré le manque de tuiles a plusieurs endroits .
Il ont mis leur argent /investissement sur l'image des réseaux et du club SIMON mais totalement faux et surtout pas accessible comme résident ,tu dois payer pour y manger ,seulement au bar quand tu les dérangent pas .

Activité presque pas existantes ou des locaux viennent a faire un brin de musique de l'ile et arrête a tout le chanson a chercher la prochaine ,des silences interminables et un karéoké de très de base ,des danseurs qui passent le chapeaux après 15 minutes de show si on peut appeler ca un show et un show de feu par des locaux que nous devons payer , n'importe quoi .

Hotel au potentiel avec une meilleur gérance et besoin d'un investissement majeur sur tout tout tout

Belle végétation qui permet de cacher ici et la le reste .

Nous somme aller 5 nuis a un autre hotel COMPLÈTEMENT DIFFÉRENT et haut de gamme proche de la le Kimpton Grand roatant et EXTRAORDINAIRE sur tout le jour et la nuit avec ceci .

This place is very good and very clean. The service is a little slow at the bar and there is only one buffet restaurant and one snack bar included in the package. Be careful, the small snack bar on the beach is chargeable! There are few or almost no activities except diving and others offered outside the resort. The site is quiet and perfect for relaxing. The second pool, supposedly for adults only, is not so much and there is no lifeguard. As for the beach, it is definitely the place where there is the most space and it is the least compact compared to other places. We really enjoyed our stay

Cet endroit est très bien et très propre. Le service est un peu lent au bar et il n’y a qu’un seul buffet restaurant et un snack bar d’inclus au forfait. Attention le petit casse croûte de la plage est payant! Il n’y a peu ou presque que pas d’activités sauf plongée et autres offertes à l’extérieur du resort. le site et c’est tranquille et parfait pour se reposer. La deuxième piscine supposément étant pour adultes seulement ne l’est pas tant et il n’y a pas de surveillance. Pour ce qui est de la plage c’est carrément l’endroit où il y a le plus d’espace et que c’est le moins compacte à comparé aux autres endroits. On a bien aimé notre séjour
