Half the hotel is under "repair" (barricaded or abandoned buildings, barricaded or abandoned rooms in the remaining buildings). Trash litters the ground around the bungalows, furniture is broken, and several doors are damaged. We spent our entire stay getting our key cards re-encrypted. The shower was malfunctioning and disgusting. We were supposed to have two queen beds, but we got one king bed for four people. After repeatedly insisting on a different bed, we were brought a rollaway bed (the worst I've ever seen), completely wrecked and stained, with traces of bedbugs. We were bitten throughout our stay. We had to spend most of our time at the neighboring Grand Memories resort to access services. The buffet was okay, but we found cockroaches on the counter (and on the floor around the cafeteria). There were sand fleas on the beach as well as jellyfish. The children were bitten on the very first day and refused to go back. The beach was beautiful otherwise. The staff were very kind, especially to the children. Honestly, the hotel is outdated and should be avoided. It's a disgrace to trap tourists for a week in such a place.

La douche était dysfonctionnelle et dégoûtante. Nous devions avoir deux grands lits, mais nous avons eu un lit king pour quatre personnes. Après avoir insisté à plusieurs reprises pour obtenir un autre lit, on nous a apporté un lit d’appoint (le pire que j’aie vu de ma vie), complètement défoncé et taché, avec des traces de punaises de lit. Nous avons été piqués tout au long du séjour.
Nous avons dû passer la majorité du temps sur le site voisin du Grand Memories pour bénéficier de services. Le buffet était correct, mais nous avons trouvé des coquerelles sur le comptoir (et par terre autour de la cafétéria). Il y avait des puces de sable sur la plage ainsi que des méduses; les enfants se sont fait piquer dès le premier jour et n’ont pas voulu y retourner. La plage était très belle, sinon. Le personnel était très gentil, surtout avec les enfants.
Sincèrement, l’hôtel est désuet et devrait être évité. C’est une honte de piéger des touristes pendant une semaine dans un endroit pareil.

Upon arrival, there were six of us in the premium class. Someone came to get us and take us to the main hall because the Paraiso area was closed. They took us to a room with our luggage where there were lots of cockroaches. They had just put out poison, and the cockroaches were coming out of hiding. First impression (regret). We took our luggage out of there because we had been alone for a while and went to check on our reservation. When we came back, they had put our suitcases back there with the cockroaches... The premium class was a useless expense. It was closed several times, including the buffet. It was closed for two days for renovations, so the buffet was closed. A day and a half later, we discovered that they had changed our seating arrangements, complaining that we were premium and that we no longer had our restaurant, which was pretty much the only premium perk we had. No one informed us of the change, and when we asked, the person who answered was very condescending. Apart from a few very nice people, the staff was quite cold. I would not return to this hotel; the premium option might be useful in high season but not in low season because the buffet offered a good variety and there were few people.

A notre arrivé nous étions 6 premium quelqu'un est venu nous chercher pour nous amener au grand mémorie car le paraiso était fermer ils nous ont amener dans une salle avec nos bagages ou il y avait plein de coquerelles il venant de mettre du poison et il sortait de leurs cachette première impression (le regret) nous avons sorti nos bagage de cette endroit car nous étions seul depuis un bout et nous sommes aller voir ce qui se passait avec notre enregistrement quand nous sommes revenus il avait remis nos valise la avec les coquerelles... le premium class a été une dépense inutile, il a été fermer a quelque reprise donc au buffet, il a été fermer 2 jours pour rénovation donc buffet , 1 jour et demi plus tard nous avons découvert qu'il avait changer de place en se plaignant que nous étions premium et que nous n'avions plus notre resto car c'est pas mal la seule chose premium que nous avions le resto, personne ne nous a aviser du changement et quand nous avons demander la personne qui nous a répondu était tres condescendante, le staff a part quelque personne tres gentille était assez froid. je ne retournerais pas a cette hôtel, le premium est peut être utile en haute saison mais pas en basse saison car le buffet offrais une bonne variété et il y avait peu de gens
