Manque de clients
The resort should be better rated in a few months when guests stop spreading false information that Cuba lacks everything. That's when people will be able to appreciate it.

Belle vacance
We were supposed to leave on November 6th at 4pm but it was postponed to Thursday 7th at 9am then 10.30am which is due to Hurricane Rafael and the airport opened at noon. We arrived in Cuba around 2.30pm and we did not go to the Grand Memories because there was no electricity but to the Grand Aston very nice holiday residence almost 5 stars where we were very well accommodated for the week. The beach suffered damage with rocks and we could not swim let's say 2 stars.
Nous devions partir le 6 novembre à 16 heures mais il a été reporté le jeudi 7 à 9 heures ensuite 10.30 h qui a pour cause l'ouragan Rafael et l'aéroport a ouvert à midi. Nous sommes arrivé à Cuba vers 14.30 h et nous n'avons pas été au Grand Memories car il n'y avait pas d'électricité mais au Grand Aston très bel résidence de vacance presque 5 étoiles où nous avons été très bien accomodé pour la semaine. La plage a subi des dommages avec de la rocaille et on ne pouvais pas se baigner disons 2 étoiles.

The food and drink were very good At the beach: Catamaran, Pedal boat and free kayak Catamaran $20/person directly on the beach: snorkeling trip in a diverse marine universe, full of fish and buried treasures... best investment of all the trips offered in Varadero Bring your fins/mask/snorkel ideally, because in Varadero they don't have good diving equipment to offer to tourists Beach: Paradise!! Snorkeling from the beach, full of fish 20 meters from the shore Trip to Varadero by bus: it's worth going to the last stop, it allows you to see everything you can do. The Artisans Market: best investment for very original and less expensive gift souvenirs than elsewhere Bar L'Éclipse: opens at 3 p.m., located on the 13th floor of a tower, splendid and very inexpensive to have a good drink and contemplate Varadero on a 360-degree glass view! Very impressive 😀 All the hotel staff and the representative of Caraïbe Sol are wonderful I loved my experience, swimming in the turquoise waters, breathtaking sunset, safari-style bus ride it was so great, Cubans are very poor people but endowed with incredible generosity! Gifts for Cubans: Bring your shoes that no longer serve, mosquito repellent, snacks, clothes. They do not have easy access to supplies for essential needs, very expensive and rare. Sunscreen: bring them in your checked baggage on the plane and at least 3 bottles... because they sell for 25 US everywhere in Varadero. I had two and I missed some. The sun: very strong, it's very hot, I saw a lot of people red as a tomato on their second day...not funny! Have a good stay Isabelle

Apportez votre palme/masque/tuba idéalement, car à varadero ils ont pas de bons matériel de plongé à offrir au tourisme
Plage: Paradisiaque!! Plongée en apnée à partir de la plage, pleins de poissons à 20 mètres du bord
Sortie à varadero en bus: ça vaut le coup d aller jusqu'au dernier arrêt, ça permet de voir tout ce qu on peut faire.
Le marché des Artisans: meilleur investissement pour des souvenirs cadeaux très original et moins dispendieux qu ailleurs
Bar L'Éclipse: ouvre à 15h, situé au 13 ieme étage d une tour, splendide et très peu dispendieux pour boire un bon drink et contempler varadero sur une vue 360 degrés vitré ! Très impressionnant 😀
Tout le personnel de l hotel et le représentant de caraïbe Sol sont merveilleux
J ai adoré mon expérience, baignade dans les eaux turquoises, coucher de soleil à couper le souffle, promenade en bus style safari c était trop génial, les cubains sont des gens très pauvres mais doté d une générosité incroyable !
Cadeaux pour les cubains: Apportez vos souliers qui ne sert plus, chasse moustique, Collations, vêtements. Ils n ont pas accès facilement à s approvisionner pour les besoins essentiels, très cher et rare.
Creme soleil: apporter les dans vos bagages de soute en avion et au moins 3 bouteilles...car elles se vendent 25 US partout à varadero. J en avais deux et j en ai manqué.
Le soleil: très puissant, il fait très chaud, j si vue beaucoup de gens rouge tomate à leur 2ieme journée...pas drôle !
