First family experience
Première expérience en famille
We loved our first family trip. The only downside was having to go out twice to get the mini-bar refilled, and the food at the buffet wasn't always very hot (but still edible). Otherwise, it was perfect.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The room was perfect, the food was great, the water features were fantastic, and the mascots were wonderful. One suggestion for improvement: the restaurant reservation app wasn't working during our stay.

Relaxing in the sun with the family.
Relâche au soleil en famille.
A very beautiful resort. Calm and pleasant. Good food. We loved it. The only downside was that our room, while lovely, showed its age. Overall, I recommend the hotel for a family trip; it was truly wonderful.

More of a resort for children 5 and up than for toddlers, but we still had a great time. The toddler slides can't be used with a parent, and for the kids' club, the only times a parent can accompany their child are from noon to 2 pm, which is typically nap time. So we mostly enjoyed the resort's pools and the beach.
Plus un resort 5ans et plus que pour toddler mais on s’est quand très bien amusé.
More... Less...Les glissades pour toddlers ne peuvent pas etre utilisées avec le parents et pour le kids club les seules heures où le parent peut accompagner l’enfant sont de midi à 14h qui est typiquement l’heure de la sieste.
Donc on a plus profité des piscines du resort et de la plage.

Nickelodeon Punta Cana, not 5 star
Went at Nickelodeon Resort in Punta Cana. Very nice in general but here some information you need to know. Our room was a little outdated, problems with the glass doors, handle broke and it took 3 days before someone came to repair, shower leaked trough the roof, walls sound proofing : 0. elevator not working,
Other than that, you need to know that activities like breakfast with characters are not included and very expensive. Very difficult to reserve à la carte restaurants but we had one every night.
On the positive side, super cool for kids and you can see shows and meet charters everywhere on the beautiful resort. Aqua parc is super nice but very little space for normal people, lot of space for exclusive travellers… restaurant are good, pools are super nice, beach is super nice but the week we were there was an everyday red flag for waves.
For all this and compared with many resorts I visited in my life, I give a 4 star for Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana.
