Very good stay
tres bon séjours
From September 30th to October 7th, 2026, the staff were always smiling and efficient. The hotel was very clean and the food was very good. Highly recommended.

Nice trip, sargassum, but not premium
Beau voyage, sargasses, mais pas premium
Our trip was great. The beach was a disappointment, but no one can control nature, and the sargassum seaweed was so prevalent that swimming and even walking on the beach were impossible. We booked a swim-out with a sea view: the swim-out was nice, but a bit of a mixed bag. The sargassum made it smell bad, so the sea view wasn't really worth the price of admission. With a toddler who still takes naps, the swim-out was perfect for still enjoying our vacation. We were in the "prestige" category, or whatever they call it, and with a toddler, it offered almost no advantages. You pay a lot for what amounts to little more than a swim-out area, since all the inclusions are for adults 18 and over. The pool, the terrace restaurant, and the lobby bar make you feel pretty bad when you try to grab a snack with your little one. The concierge service in this category is one of the least friendly and helpful I've ever encountered, referring you to the app or your patience for almost every question. But hey, if you have a problem, just ask the manager directly; it'll save you time. The hotel is clean, pretty, and well laid out, with the rooms on one side and the attractions on the other, making it possible to find some peace and quiet even in the evening. The main pool is lovely, with its three whirlpools and pretty fountain. With the beach being difficult to access, there would certainly be a shortage of sun loungers in high season, but for us, this wasn't a problem. The shows were great, and it was good that they were in the theater, which effectively soundproofed the noisier evenings. We were there for peace and quiet, and it was perfect in that regard. The massage was fantastic, although the spa experience was a bit short. The restaurants were okay, but the service could be slow with a young child, and having the buffet open more often in the evening would have been helpful. We took four excursions, and each one was good except for the catamaran trip, which I think should have been longer, as two hours on the island was far too short. All in all, I don't know if I would go back because I love the sea, but I didn't regret my trip at all and was very happy to have gone. I would still recommend it, though, with the understanding about the sargassum seaweed.
Notre voyage a été super. La plage était une deception mais personne ne controle la nature et les sargasses sont plus que présente et rendent impossible la baignade et même la marche sur la plage. Nous avions pris un swim-out avec vue sur mer: le swim out est bien mais un peu partagé, les sargasse font que ça sent mauvais donc la vue sur la mer ne vaut pas vraiment son pesant d'or... Avec un enfant en bas âge qui fait encore une sieste, le swim-out est parfait pour profiter tout de même de nos vacances.

Less...Nous étions dans la cathégorie "prestique" ou je ne sais plus comment ils appellent cela, avec un enfant en bas âge, ça ne donne quasi aucun avantage et on paie cher pour n'avoir en bout de ligne, qu'un swim-out car toutes les inclusions sont pour les 18 ans et plus... la piscine, le resto terrasse et le lobby bar te fait sentir assez mal merci quand tu passes avec ton petit pour prendre un encas... Le service de consiergerie de cette cathégorie est l'un des moins souriant et aidant que j'ai jamais vu d'ailleurs, te référent à l'application ou a ta patience à presque chaque questions, mais bon, en cas de problème, demandez direct le "manager" ça vous épargenera le temps perdu.
L'hotel est propre, joli et bien divisé quand à moi, les chambres d'un côté et les attractions de l'autre, rendant la possibilité de calme possible même le soir. La piscine principale est chouette avec ses trois bains tourbillons et sa jolie fontaine. Avec la plage peu praticable, il manquerait surement des transats en haute saison mais pour nous ce n'était pas un problème.
Les spactacles etaient chouette et c'était bien qu'ils soient au théatre, ce qui insonorise bien les soirées plus bruyantes. Nous étions la pour le calme et c'était très bien à ce niveau. Le massage était super, le spa un peu court comme moment ceci dit. Les restaurants sont ok, mais le service peut-être lent avec un jeune enfant et avoir le buffet ouvert plus souvent le soir aurait été bien pour nous.
Nous avons fait quatre excursions et chacune d'elle etait bien outre celle de catamaran qui selon-moi aurait du être plus longue car 2h sur l'Ile était nettement trop court.
Somme tout, je ne sais pas si j'y retournerais car je suis une personne qui aime la mer, mais je n'ai pas du tout regretté mon voyage et bien heureuse d'y avoir été. Je le conseillerais tout de même avec la transparence sur les sargasses.

I've traveled extensively in Mexico, and it's not to your advantage to claim it's a 5-star hotel; it's very small, the pool is dirty, and it's not true that it's been recently renovated.

Gabriella was a really efficient waitress at the bar and restaurant. Three out of four were open. I know it was cheap, but it was a very disappointing hotel.

Air conditioning not working in several rooms. The staff were in a bad mood when we didn't leave a tip. Is it supposed to be all-inclusive or not? I wouldn't go back.

Preferred clubs are not worth it

Air Canada representative spoke English only. The butler was there to make us spend the $200 bonus. For example, $100 off a $190 massage... I even got a $350 bonus. On two occasions, I made a request. I was referred to someone else. "Go ask your representative" or see the clerk over there. The Preferred Club lounge is really very ordinary. The Preferred Club pool is full by 8:00 AM. Surrounded by a forest, there's little air circulation. The room was clean but noisy due to the air conditioning and the soundproofing of the entrance door; luckily, earplugs were helpful. The staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. Beautiful beach, and they're working hard to remove the sargassum seaweed. Not much swimming.
Représentant d air canada en anglais seulement. La majordome est là pour nous faire dépenser le bonus de 200 dollars. Ex: 100 de rabais pour un massage de 190 dollars ...j ai même eu un bonus de 350 dollars. En deux occasions j ai fait une demande . On m'a référé à une autre personne. "Allez demander à votre représentant" ou voyez le commis là bas.

clubs est pleine à 8h le matin. Entourée d une forêt peu d air y circule.
Chambre propre mais bruyante par son air climatisé et l isolation de la porte d entrée, heureusement des bouchons d oreilles ont été utiles.
Personnel chaleureux bouffe excellente. Belle plage et et on travaille fort pour enlever les sargasses. Peu baignade.
