Not much choice in the buffet for launch & dinner, breakfast is fine. Too small buffet compared to such a big hotel. Sea food restaurant is great. Most disappointment is the beach, very small beach. Anybody wants to stay long time relaxing n the beach, this hotel is not for him.
But enjoyed other activities. Visited few places in surrounding area.

Everything is centralized, and access to all services is quick. The staff is courteous and responds promptly. There is a lack of choice in the restaurant, and the food at the buffet is often cold. Overall, it was a very good stay, especially for people with reduced mobility, as access to all activities on site is quick. Our room was lovely with a fantastic view.
Tout est centralisé,acces est rapide à toute les services.Le personnel est courtois et respond rapidement .Il manque de choix au niveau restauration,souvent la nourriture au buffet est froide.En général cela a été un très bon séjour surtout pour les personnes à mobilité restrainte car sur le site l'acces se fait rapide à toutes les activités.Notre chambre était belle avec un vue fotmidable.

The staff were waiting at the airport to pick us up and take us to the hotel, which is about a 30-minute drive away. The hotel lobby is large and includes the reception desk, a small convenience/souvenir shop, and a bar. The receptionist worked hard to find us a room that met our criteria: a sea view and a room on a higher floor. Since we arrived at night, we were invited to go to the small breakfast bar above the reception desk while waiting for our room. There, we could find coffee, juice, and a mini-buffet. Our room, number 633, was large, clean, and far from the pool, so it wasn't too noisy. It had two beds with comfortable mattresses. The mini-bar was well-stocked and free of charge. Unfortunately, the air conditioning couldn't be controlled. The TV signal was sometimes scrambled, which prevented us from following the major military operations in the state of Jalisco. Concerned friends kept us informed about the situation. Meals are served buffet-style. The food isn't always hot, but the pastries are delicious. There are three restaurants offering sit-down dinners: Italian, Mexican, and seafood. The beach is small and very suitable for families. It's shallow with no waves. It's located at the mouth of a boat and Sea-Doo launch. There are occasional gasoline smells, and the seaweed isn't always collected in the morning. Part of the beach is concrete covered with sand. There's a large, somewhat worn swimming pool, but it's a good alternative to the beach. Activities are offered throughout the day from 9:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.: kayaking, Zumba, yoga, volleyball, basketball, bocce ball, bean bag toss, full-size chess, a toddler play area, and a ping-pong table. There are also a massage parlor and spa for an additional fee. A show is offered in the lobby during happy hour: pianist, singer, opera. In the evening, a larger show is offered around the pool: circus acts, dancers, singers, and a quiet dance party. Playa del Carmen is about an hour away, by colectivo for $6 CAD and by taxi for $55 CAD. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. Next time, we will choose a hotel with a beach that has big waves. The staff is very friendly.

More... Less...A l’hôtel le hall est grand, on y trouve la réception, une petite boutique dépanneur/souvenirs et un bar. L’employé de la réception à travailler fort pour trouver une chambre selon nos critères, vue sur la mer et à une chambre dans les étages supérieurs.
Puisque nous sommes arrivés de nuit, nous avons été invités pour attendent notre chambre à passer au petit comptoir-lunch qui se trouve au-dessus de la réception. On peut y trouver du café, du jus et un mini buffet.
Grande chambre numéro 633, propre et loin de la piscine. Comme ça il n’y a pas trop de bruit. Il y a deux lits et les matelas sont confortables. Le mini bar est bien garni et gratuit. Impossible de contrôler la climatisation. La télé est parfois brouillée ce qui nous empêchait de suivre les importantes opérations militaires dans l’état de Jalisco. Ce sont des amis inquiets qui nous informaient de la situation.
Les repas sont offerts sous forme de buffet. La nourriture n’est pas toujours chaude et les pâtisseries sont délicieuses. Il y a trois restaurants qui offrent des soupers servis à la table, un Italien, mexicain et de fruit de mer.
La plage est petite et convient très bien aux familles. Elle est peu profonde sans vague. Elle se trouve à l’embouchure d’une sortie de bateaux et de seadoo. Il arrive qu’il y ait des odeurs d’essence. Et les algues ne sont pas toujours ramassées dans la matinée. Une partie de la plage est en béton recouverte de sable.
Il y a une grande piscine un peu usée, mais elle est une bonne alternative à la plage.
Il y a des activités tout au long de la journée à partir de 9h45 jusqu’à 16h. Kayak, Zumba, Yoga, Volleyball, Basket-ball, jeu de pétanque, jeu de poche, jeu d’échec grand format, espace de jeux pour les tout petits et une table de ping-pong. Activités payantes, Salon de massage et spa.
Un spectacle est offert dans le hall d’entrée durant l’apéro, Pianiste, chanteur, opéra. En soirée, un plus grand spectacle est offert autour de la piscine, Cirque, Danseur, Chanteur, soirée de dansante sans bruit.
La Playa del Carmen se trouve à environs une heure, en collectivo pour $6 can et en taxi pour $55 can.
En général nous sommes satisfaits de notre séjour. La prochaine fois, nous choisirons un hôtel avec une plage avec de grosses vagues. Le personnel est très sympathique.
