This is Costa Rica, so expect big waves on the beach. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel, its cleanliness, and its comfort. The only downside was the buffet; it's very small, and since there are only two à la carte restaurants, it gets quite repetitive. Luckily, we rented a golf cart and went into town for three days to eat. I recommend this hotel if food isn't a priority for you. The location is perfect for visiting Tamarindo.
C'est le Costa Rica, donc pour la plage vous devez vous attendre à beaucoup de vague. Nous avons été agréablement surpris de l'hôtel, de sa propreté et son confort. Je vous dirais le seul bémol ses le buffet, il est très petit et du fait que nous avons uniquement 2 resto à la carte, ca devient très redondant. Par chance, de notre côté nous avons loué un cart de golf et somme aller en ville 3 jours pour manger. Je recommande cette hôtel si la nourriture pour vous n'est pas une nécessité. L'emplacement est parfait pour se rendre à Tamarindo

I ordered a steak at an Italian restaurant and didn't even take a bite because I asked for it medium-rare and it was barely cooked. Plus, it was full of gristle and stringiness. I told the waitress, but she didn't say or do anything about it.
J’ai mangé un steak au restaurant italien et même pas pris une bouchée car j’avais demandé la cuisson médium saignant et je l’ai reçu pas cuit bleu en plus il etait plein de tirailles et nerfs je l’ai dit à la serveuse et elle n’a rien dit ou fait

Not brand new, but well-maintained. The staff were welcoming and attentive, but a little slow at the bar. Overall, everything was fine.
Pas neuf, mais bien entretenu. Personnel était accueillant et à notre écoute, mais un peu lent pour le service au bar. En général tout était bien.

Very good 4-star all-inclusive hotel

The sea was rocky and the water cold. I must admit we were disappointed compared to the beaches of Santa Maria in Cuba, which we consider the most beautiful in the Caribbean. The vegetation was lush and well-maintained. In general, the food is better than in Cuba. We would return to Costa Rica to a more inviting beach. Otherwise, we can't wait to go back to Cuba when we can.
La mer était rocailleuse et l'eau froide. Je dois avouer que nous étions déçus si on compare aux plages de Santa Maria à Cuba qui sont à notre avis les plus belles des Caraibes.
More... Less...La végétation était très belle et très bien entretenue. En général, la nourriture est meilleure qu'à Cuba.
Nous retournerions au Costa Rica sur une plage plus accueillante.
Sinon, on a hâte de retourner à Cuba lorsque ce sera possible.
