Superb hotel, but it hasn't been well maintained.

We loved the location with the tranquil river! The hotel, pools, and rooms haven't been perfectly maintained over time, but it didn't spoil our experience. The most disappointing thing was the à la carte restaurants! The buffet was better! We loved the on-site café! The staff were very friendly!

It was a great start, but then the locals arrived and the buffet quality and service declined. The beach is very small with not many chairs, but the lagoon at El Baso is beautiful. I would go back anytime.

The hotel and its facilities were perfect, but swimming was impossible on the beach directly in front of the hotel, except for the bay on the El Beso side. There was a shortage of sun loungers both on the beach and by the pool. The food was very good and the restaurants were easy to book.
