Exceptional location. Exceptional staff. Opportunity to swim in the sea. Good food. Good drinks. Very clean site and room. No problem getting chairs at the pool or beach at a reasonable price in the morning.

We had booked an excursion on board the plane. Never do this! The Sunwing representative didn't show up for the meeting that was supposed to take place the next day. Luckily, the hotel staff who spoke Spanish helped us resolve the impasse we were in. We were able to go on the excursion but wasted a lot of time trying to reach Sunwing.

Nous avions réservé une excursion à bord de l'avion. À ne jamais faire ! Le représentant Sunwing ne s'est pas présenté à la réunion qui devait avoir lieu le lendemain. Heureusement que le personnel de l'hôtel qui parlait espagnol nous a aidé à résoudre l'impasse dans laquelle nous nous trouvions. Nous avons pu faire l'excursion mais nous avons perdu beaucoup de temps à tenter de rejoindre Sunwing.

Positive: Sublime desert landscape (cactus), wide beach of white sand (perfect for long walks). At our hotel the Melia Cabo Real between San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, we could safely go swimming in the sea Very clean, large rooms, beautiful decor zen (hotel reception, lobby bar, fountains and Japanese gardens). Good variety and quality of food at the buffet breakfast and lunch (even the wine is good). However, it is best at night to go to two a la carte restaurants (Mediterranean, Japanese). The evening buffet on the beach is "not to be missed" (good food and good entertainment). Great cocktails (including the "frozen margarita")! Los Cabos is known for its golf courses and deep sea fishing in San Lucas, it is important to go for a boat ride to see the ark (separation of the Sea of ??Cortes and Pacific Ocean ), playa de amor and seals basking in the sun on the rocks. Boat trips are also to go whale watching off the month January to March. The staff is very friendly and some even speak French. Without hesitation, we would return to this hotel. À notre hôtel le Mélia Cabo Real situé entre San Lucas et San José del Cabo, nous pouvions sans risque nous baigner dans la mer. Hôtel très propre, grandes chambres, très belle décoration zen (réception de l`hôtel, bar du lobby, fontaines et jardins japonais). Bonne variété et qualité de nourriture au buffet du déjeuner et du midi (même le vin est bon). Cependant, il est préférable le soir d`aller aux deux restos à la carte (méditerranéen, japonais). Le buffet du soir sur la plage est "à ne pas manquer" (bonne bouffe et bon spectacle). Très bons cocktails (entre autres, les "frozen margaritas")! Los Cabos est reconnu pour ses terrains de golf et la pêche en haute mer. À San Lucas, il est important d`aller faire un tour de bateau pour voir l`arche (séparation de la mer de Cortes et de l`océan du Pacifique), la playa de l`amor et les phoques qui se dorent au soleil sur des rochers. Des excursions en bateau se font également pour aller admirer les baleines au large du mois de janvier à mars. Le personnel est très aimable et certains parlent même français. Sans hésiter, nous retournerions à cet hôtel. Négatif : La mer est très belle mais dû au ressac plusieurs gens des autres hôtels venaient se baigner dans la mer face à notre hôtel. Également, il est préférable d`avoir des souliers de plage pour marcher à plusieurs endroits sur la plage. Seulement, deux restos à la carte à notre hôtel. Conseil pour le resto à la carte japonais: il faut commander le double pour être rassasié. Généralement, le buffet du soir est moyen au niveau variété.
