Punta Cana Princess

I relied on the reviews, but beware of the 82% rating; it's not worth it. The buffet was very disappointing, the room needed renovations, and the key to open it only worked half the time. I had to go to the lobby, and no, my key card wasn't connected to my phone. The beach was very disappointing with a lot of sargassum seaweed; they didn't even clean it up for two days, and it stank. The positive point is that it's adults-only, and you can go to the Princess Luxury Caribe, go to the huge buffet, and see the evening shows. But that means walking at least five minutes each way, and it's difficult when it's hot. At the Princess, the à la carte restaurant is very good in the evening, and you don't need a reservation. If I had paid less, say $400 less, maybe I would have been less disappointed, especially since the Caribe is the same price, and the rooms are renovated and have magnetic bracelets that open the door. I asked to change rooms, but they charged me an extra fee. Overload, in short, go to the Caribbean

je m'étais fier au commentaires, faite attention a la note de 82%, cela ne vaut pas ca, le buffet très décevant, chambre manque de rénovations et la clé pour ouvrir fonctionnait une fois sur 2 et je devais aller au lobby et non ma carte n'étais pas avec mon cellulaire, la plage très décevant avec beaucoup de sargasse, même que pendant 2 jours il n'ont rien ramasser sur la plage et ca puait, le point positif c'est le adultes seulement, et que tu pouvais aller au Caribe de luxe princess, aller au buffet qui est immense et voir les spectacles le soir, mais ca implique de marcher au moins 5 minutes a chaque fois et lorsqu'il fait chaud c'est difficile, mais au Princess le soir resto a la carte très bon sans besoin de réservation, si j'avais payé moins chère, disons 400$ de moins peut être que j'aurais été moins s decu, surtout que le Caribe est au même prix et que les chambre sont rénovée et avec bracelet magnétique qui ouvre la porte, j'ai demandé pour changer de place mais ol chargeait une surcharge, bref aller au Caribe

I really enjoyed my stay; the site is beautiful and extremely clean. The room could use some improvements, but nothing major. The meals were varied and very good. The beach is lovely, and there were always chairs available. I will definitely return.

J'ai bien aimé mon séjour, site de toute beauté et extrêmement propre. Chambre pourrait avoir des améliorations mais rien de major. Les repas avec beaucoup de diversité et très bon. Belle plage et toujours des chaises disponibles. Je vais y retourner c'est sûr.

An unforgettable stay, a very clean resort, a beautiful and peaceful beach, a lovely room, and undeniably excellent food quality, both at the buffets and the à la carte restaurants. We would return without hesitation. The only point for improvement would be the quality of information received upon arrival regarding access to the different restaurants at the other two resorts and the reservation procedure. However, by asking around, we eventually got the information we needed.

Séjour inoubliable, resort très propre, très belle plage paisible, belle chambre, qualité de la nourriture indiscutable tant aux buffets qu'aux restaurants à la carte. Nous y retournerions sans hésitation. Le seul point à améliorer serait là qualité des informations reçues à l'arrivée concernant l'accès aux différents restaurants des deux autres resorts et à la procédure de réservation. Mais en questionnant on a fini par avoir les informations.

We loved that the resort was small, quiet, and that the staff was friendly. However, the entertainment was repetitive and minimal. There was also a lack of bathroom facilities. But Patrick and Louis provided outstanding service. Upon request, Patrick created a silly little café for my partner and made sure there was other staff to cover for him during his vacation days.

Nous avons adoré que le resort soit petit, calme et le personnel. Par contre l’animation était redondante et minime. Un manque aussi côté remplissage d’équipement sanitaire. Mais Patrick et Louis ont donné un service extraordinaire. Sur demande Patrick à créer un café niaiseux à mon chum et s’est assuré d’avoir d’autre personnel pour le remplacer pendant ses journées de vacances.
