Resonance Musique Santa Maria

I really enjoyed my stay. There was very little entertainment, which suited me perfectly, and the food wasn't very varied, but I always found something to eat. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. I didn't lack anything except cola for the Cuba Libres. 😊

Vraiment aimé mon sejour. Tres peu danimation, ce qui me.convenait parfaitement, nourriture peu variée mais j'ai toujours trouvé de quoi me contenter. Hotel très propre, personnel attentionné et chaleureux. Manqué de rien sauf de cola pour les Cuba Libre. 😊

I recommend this hotel if you're paying less than $850. The place is beautiful and very clean. The rooms are large and well-maintained! As for the bars, nothing special. They're lobby bars (without music) or poolside bars! No nightclub or dance floor on site. Which brings me to the music and entertainment! Horrible, horrible, horrible! The same 8-9 boring songs on repeat all week! (YMCA and Tonight Gonna Be a Good Night). The same 6-7 dancers, all bored and out of place! An entertainer yelling in Spanish into a very loud and aggressive microphone! Bad Cuban-style entertainment! Please note that you'll be doing a lot of walking at this resort! Everything is far away! For food, there's a restaurant/buffet (grill) on site in the morning with omelets, beans, bacon, and fruit! 80% of the food isn't edible, but there are a few things here and there to fill your stomach! Dinner is more complicated! It often ends up being a hamburger or ham sandwich from a beachfront grill or a neighboring resort! For supper, you can make reservations at 3 or 4 à la carte restaurants in a wonderful little village a 10-15 minute walk away (Plaza). Otherwise, there's a so-so buffet that starts at 7 pm at the hotel! (Too late in my opinion). Basically, it's worth it, but not expensive. Given the resort's 'party' focus, there are a lot of solo travelers there (including me). You'll meet lots of new people. The beach was rather full of dried seaweed, but still really beautiful. You can walk for 1.5 hours straight without even reaching the end! BLU resonance vs. MUSIC resonance. These are basically the same hotel, just stuck together! Exact copies! Take the cheaper of the two. (You'll be in the same place). The hotel itself is great and clean. The food is so-so Cuban, but fresh and healthy! The music and activities organized by the entertainment staff are awful and almost aggressive to the ears! Don't believe the supposed outdoor gym and playground. It's a joke, and nobody set foot in it all week. Please note that you might encounter one or two cockroaches in your room during your stay, but nothing alarming! It's the Caribbean after all! Overall, I recommend it, but not for the music and parties!

Je vous reccommande cet hotel si vous payez moin de 850$. L'endroit est de toute beauté et très propre. Les chambres sont grandes et bien entretenues! Pour ce qui est des bars, rien de spécial. Ce sont des bars de lobby (sans musique) ou de bord de piscine! Aucune discothèque sur place ou bar avec plancher de danse. Ceci m'amène à la musique et animation sur place! Horrible horrible horrible! Les 8-9 mêmes chansons plates en boucles toute la semaine! (YMCA et tonight gona be a good night). Les mêmes 6-7 danseurs / danseuses blazés et hors contexte! Un animateur qui geule en espagnole dans un micro très fort et très agressant! De la mauvaise animation à la Cubaine! Veuillez noter que vous allez en marcher une shot dans ce resort! Tout est loin! Pour la bouffe, vous avez un resto/buffet (grill) sur place le matin avec omellettes, fêves, bacon et fruit! 80% des produits ne sont pas mangeables mais y'a de quoi se remplir le ventre avec quelques trucs ici et là! Pour les diners, c'est p'us compliqué! Ca fini souvent en hamburger et sandwich au jambon pris dans un grill de bord de mer ou sur resort voisin! Pour les soupers, vous pouvez reservez pour 3 ou 4 restos à la carte qui sont dans un merveilleux mini village a 10-15 minutes de marches. (Plaza). Sinon vous avez un buffett so so qui debute à 19h à l'hotel! (Trop tard selon moi). En gros, ca vaut le coup mais pas à gros prix. Étant donné la vocation 'festive' du resort, il y a beaucoup de voyageur solo sur place. (Donc moi). Vous ferez beaucoup de nouvelles connaissances. La plage etait plutôt remplis d'algues sèches mais vraiment trop nice. Vous pouvez marcher 1:30 en ligne droite sans même arriver au bout! BLU raisonnance vs MUSIQUE raisonnance. Ce sont en gros, le meme hotel qui sont collés un sur l'autre! Copie conforme! Prenez le moin cher des deux. (Vous etes à la meme place). En gros, l'hotel est super et propre. La bouffe est so so à la Cubaine mais fraiche et salubre! La musique et les activités organisées par les animateurs sont horribles et limite aggressantes pour les oreiles! Ne vous fiez pas au supposements gym exterieur et terrain de jeux quelquonques. C'est bidon et personne n'y a mis les pieds de la semaine. Veuillez noter que vous allez Peut-Etre croiser une ou deux coquerelles dans votre chambre durant votre sejour mais rien d'alarmant! C'est le sud apres tout! En gros je vous le conseil mais pas pour la musique et les Partys!

Our room and the rest of the resort were clean. In the public restrooms (lobby), half the toilets were missing toilet paper or seats. The pool is very large and well-maintained. There are five bars, each with its own distinct character: the lobby bar (for lively evenings), the Grill bar (more relaxed), the pool bar, the sports bar (with foosball, billiards, and ping-pong indoors, and pickleball and shuffleboard courts outdoors), and the wonderful beach bar, which also serves snacks (the best tuna and chips sandwiches in the resort). The beach is beautiful. During our stay, the hotel occupancy rate was very low, so activities weren't really taking off. There were too few people. The advantage was that we didn't have to wait anywhere and we practically had the pool and beach to ourselves at several points. The staff is amazing! The small market, a 15-minute walk from the resort (or 5 minutes by go-kart), offers several dining options (included for guests of the surrounding resorts). Italian (very good pizza), traditional Cuban, steakhouse, Japanese, etc. The small ice cream shop serves excellent ice cream. There's also a nightclub and a bowling alley. In short, we had a wonderful week! I'll definitely go back.

Notre chambre et le reste du resort était propre. Les toilettes publiques (lobby) une toilette sur deux n'avait pas de papier ou de siège de toilette. La piscine est très grande et bien entretenue. Plusieurs bars (5) avec chacun leur "personnalité " : lobby (soirées festives), Grill (plus relax), piscine, sportif (avec table de baby-foot, billard, ping-pong à l'intérieur et terrain de pickelball et shuffleboard a l'extérieur) et le merveilleux bar de la plage où il y a aussi un casse-croûte (les meilleurs sandwiches au thon et frites du resort). La plage est magnifique. Lors de notre séjour, le taux d'occupation de l'hôtel était vraiment bas, donc les activités ne "levaient " pas vraiment. Trop peu de gens. L'avantage est que nous n'attendons nulle part et que nous avons eu la piscine et la plage pratiquement pour nous seul a plusieurs moments. Le personnel est extraordinaire ! Le petit market à 15 minutes de marche du resort ( ou 5 min en kart) offre plusieurs possibilités pour les repas ( inclus pour les clients des resorts autour). Italien ( tres bonne pizza), traditionnel cubain, steak house, japonais, etc. La petite crémerie offre une excellente crème glacée. On y trouve aussi une discothèque et une salle de bowling. Bref, on a passé une magnifique semaine ! J'y retournerai certainement.

My first experience at an adults-only resort, and I loved it! A very beautiful place, courteous staff, good food for Cuba, I didn't miss a thing, and it was very clean too.
