Senator Puerto Plata Hotel

The hotel was really good, very clean. The rooms are old but clean, everything works, the shower water pressure wasn't great but it was okay, the staff were A1, really great, the buffet was a bit repetitive but good, the restaurants are really good and the sushi was good, there was a lack of evening entertainment, all in all I had a very nice trip and I will definitely go back.

L’hôtel étais vraiment bien,très propre,les chambres sont vieilles mais elles sont propres,tout fonctionne,l’eau de la douche a pas beaucoup de pression mais correct,personnel était A1 vraiment super,le buffet un peu répétitif mais bon,les restaurants son vraiment bien et les sushis étais bon,manque d’animation le soir,somme tout j’ai eu un très beau voyage et j’y retournerai surment

The rooms are very old and not very clean. There was no hot water all week. The hotel allows people to smoke on the tables at the buffet outside; it's disgusting. The main pool and bar area aren't cleaned and are full of floating trash. The water is cloudy, and the bottom of the pool is desperately in need of painting. At the restaurant by the pool, it takes 50 minutes to get a sandwich. They prioritize locals over other guests every weekend. Locals can come to the hotel, and they make a mess. The staff get served before us. The daytime activities are truly awful—always the same thing, with loud, aggressive music. In short, I won't be returning to this hotel.

Les chambres sont très vieilles pas très propre pas d’eau chaude de la semaine l’hôtel laisse les gens fumer sur les tables au buffet à l’extérieur c’est dégueulasse la piscine principale avec le bar pas nettoyé plein de déchets qui flottent dedans. L’eau est brouillée le fond de la piscine est vraiment dû pour être peinturé le restaurant près de la piscine ça prend 50 minutes pour avoir un sandwich. Ils servent les locaux avant chaque week-end. Les locaux peuvent venir à l’hôtel ils font le bordel. Les employés passent eux avant nous activité de jour vraiment nulle toujours la même chose musique agressante. Bref je ne retournerai pas à cet hôtel.

The air conditioning barely works in the room. Power cuts out if there's too much demand. The pool is poorly cleaned. The staff is great. The buffet is very good; the only downside is when there are cruise ship visitors—too many people at the buffet. The beach is clean, especially on the ship side; no seaweed or big waves. There are always chairs available on the beach or by the pool.

We had a wonderful week; everything was marvelous. The staff were attentive and helpful, a welcome change from our last experience in the Dominican Republic. The buffet was always well-stocked and varied.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine, tout était merveilleux. Le personnel étaient attentionnés et a l’écoute; très différents de notre dernière expérience en République Dominicaine. Le buffet était toujours bien garnis et variés.
