The Place to Be If You’re with Friends

I just got back from Riu Cancun, and if you’re traveling with friends, I honestly can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, the resort had a fun, social atmosphere that made it easy to have a great time every day.

What really made the trip were the Riu Parties. There are four themed parties throughout the week, and they were absolutely insane in the best way possible. The music, energy, production, and crowds were incredible. They ended up being some of the highlights of our entire vacation and gave us something to look forward to every few days.

The resort itself is in a great location, right in the Hotel Zone and close to Cancun’s nightlife. The staff were friendly, the drinks kept coming, and there was always something going on around the pools.

One thing worth mentioning is that the beach wasn’t quite the crystal-clear turquoise shoreline you see in some of the promotional photos because there was some sargassum during our stay. That said, it honestly didn’t affect our trip much. The pools were fantastic, there was always somewhere to relax or hang out with friends, and the ocean was still beautiful once you looked farther out.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and waking up to the ocean view every morning never got old. Overall, this resort delivered exactly what we were looking for: good vibes, great parties, plenty of food and drinks, and an unforgettable trip with friends.

If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic escape, there are probably better options. But if you’re going with a group and want a fun, energetic vacation where you’ll make memories every day, Riu Cancun is definitely the place to be.

I had a wonderful week at the Riu Cancun; everything was great except for the mattress, which was a bit too firm, but it was fine. The only thing I was really disappointed about was not being able to enjoy the beach all week because there was so much seaweed.

J’ai passé une super belle semaine au Riu Cancun tout était super à part le matelas un peu trop dur mais c’était correct. La seule chose que j’ai été très déçu est de ne pas pu avoir profité de la plage de la semaine à cause qu’il y avait énormément d’algues .

I do not recommend this hotel... there are so many better ones in every aspect that I strongly recommend another establishment.

Je ne conseille pas cet hôtel .. il y en a tellement de meilleurs sur tous les aspects que je conseille fortement un autre établissement .

The hotel is right on the beautiful square; there was no seaweed, the grounds are impeccably maintained, and everything is spotless. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly, and their service is outstanding. Our room had a balcony with a sea view, a fully stocked minibar, and four bottles of drinks (tequila, rum, gin, and vodka). It's an adults-only resort, and a few partygoers woke us up, but you're on vacation, so that's to be expected! We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

L’hôtel est directement sur la place qui est très belle t il n’y avait pas d’algues, l’entretien du site est impeccable, tout est très propre. La nourriture est excellente, le personnel est sympathique et leur service est excellent. Notre chambre avait un balcon avec vue sur la mer, minibar complet et 4 bouteilles de boisson (tequila, rhum, gin, vodka). Site pour adultes, quelques fêtards nous ont réveillé mais on est en vacances faut s’y attendre ! On n’hésiterait pas à y retourner.
