A lovely trip to relax, a first for Costa Rica
Beau voyage pour se reposer, une première au Costa
The bar staff was great. Special mention to Alex at the pool bar near the beach 😍 It's often harder to get good service in restaurants. The hotel is very clean. The rooms: the air conditioning was so noisy that they moved us to a different room. It was a party place. So, getting some rest wasn't always easy when the neighbors were partying until 3 a.m. The beach was nice, but there were a lot of very pushy vendors. That said, everything else was very good. The nearby jungle is great for seeing monkeys! Seriously, a great vacation, and the monkey bar is a 10-minute walk away with a great local atmosphere. (There are two of them. The first one has been around for almost 20 years; this one had a real local charm.) Paid $2069 in July. It was worth it.

Les chambres : air climatisée bruyante tellement qu on nous a changé de chambre.
Place a party. Donc pour le repos pas toujours facile quand les voisins de chambre font le party jusqu'à 3h.
La plage agréable mais beaucoup de vendeurs tres insistants.
Mais ceci dit, le reste était très bien.
La jungle à proximité permet d'y voir des singes !
Sérieusement de belles vacances et le monkey bar À 10 minutes À pieds avec une belle ambiance local. ( il y en a 2. le premier existe depuis près de 20 ans celui là avait un charme local. )
PAYÉ 2069$ en juillet. Ça valait le coup.

Super semaine.
I loved my experience at the Riu Guanacaste. The only downside was the beach vendors; they were really tiresome and pushy, but I understand that the Riu isn't responsible for that. Also, it would be nice to have an 18+ only pool without the hotel itself being adult-only. Otherwise, honestly, it was great.
J’ai adorée mon expérience au Riu Guanacaste. Le seul point négatif ce sont les vendeurs sur la plage, ils sont vraiment fatiguants et harcelants, mais je comprends que le Riu n’y est pour rien. De plus, il serait intéressant d’avoir une piscine 18+ seulement sans pour autant que l’hôtel le soit. Sinon, honnêtement c’était super.

Un séjour merveilleux!
The hotel is magnificent and extremely well located near Eco Park Diamante. Kevin from RiuArt, Valeria from RiuArt, and Francisco (supervisor) were incredibly helpful and attentive, which made our stay even more extraordinary. The White Party was fabulous, as was the Michael Jackson show. The room with the view of the nature park was very stylish, and when there was an issue with the bathroom, it was resolved efficiently. The minibar was restocked daily (we had two large bottles of water every day in addition to all sorts of drinks). The chefs at the Liberian and Mexican restaurants were very helpful with allergy advice, and the only downside was the limited selection of nut-free desserts in all the restaurants. However, given the wide variety of meals available, it was a minor detail. I wasn't a fan of the Italian restaurant; my favorite was the Mexican one, but that's the beauty of it—there's something for everyone. By the way, the churros with caramel at breakfast are absolutely delicious! The beach is public, but spacious, and it's easy to find a shady spot on the lounge chairs provided by the hotel. The sand is extremely hot, so bring sandals. All in all, a wonderful stay!

More... Less...Kevin de Riufun (RiuArt), Valeria de RiuArt et Francisco (superviseur) ont été des plus disponibles et attentionnés ce qui a rendu le séjour encore plus extraordinaire. Le White party était fabuleux, de même que le spectacle de Michael Jackson. La chambre avec la vue sur le parc naturel était au goût du jour et lorsqu’il y a eu un enjeu au niveau de la salle de bain ça a été réglé efficacement. Le mini bar était rempli quotidiennement (nous avions 2 grosses bouteilles d’eau chaque jour en plus de toutes sortes de breuvages). Les chefs du Liberia et du restaurant mexicain nous ont bien guidé pour les allergies et le seul bémol serait qu’il y a vraiment peu de desserts sans noix et ce dans tous les restaurants, mais bon d’un autre côté avec le choix qu’il y avait pour les repas c’était vraiment un détail. Je n’ai pas été fan du restaurant italien, mon coup de cœur a plutôt été le restaurant mexicain, mais c’est la beauté de la chose, il y en a pour tous les goûts. En passant les churros avec le caramel du petit déjeuner sont absolument délicieux!
La plage est publique, mais vaste et il est facile de s’y installer à l’ombre avec des chaises longues fournies par l’hôtel. Le sable est extrêmement chaud, prévoyez des sandales.
Bref un séjour merveilleux!
