I've been to this resort twice and I'm still very satisfied. The highlights are the food and the many activities. All the staff are friendly and very competent. The beach and pools are very well maintained. The drinks are excellent and the buffet is so good no matter the time of day. Everything is perfect down to the smallest detail. Thank you again!
2 fois à ce resort, et encore très satisfaite. Les points forts sont la nourriture et les nombreuses activités. Tout le personnel est sympathique et très compétent. La plage et les piscines très bien entretenues. Les drinks sont excellents et le buffet est tellement bon peu importe l’heure de la journée. Tout est parfait dans les moindre détails. Merci encore!

You can't go wrong with the Riu Latino
On ne se trompe pas avec le Riu Latino
This was our second visit to the Riu Latino, the last being in 2024. We found the food wasn't as good as last time, but we weren't complaining because the food is always excellent in Mexico. The grounds were clean, and the sargassum seaweed was collected early in the morning. We were disappointed with the bars... All our drinks tasted "chemical," like pre-made bottled drinks from Dollarama. There's entertainment, with parties at other hotels where shuttles transport guests, which keeps our hotel quiet, something we really appreciate. Overall, we liked the Riu Latino and would definitely go back. 4/5 ⭐️
C'était notre 2e visite au Riu Latino, la dernière étant en 2024. Nous avons trouvé que la nourriture n'était pas aussi bonne que la dernière fois, mais nous n'étions pas à plaindre car on mange toujours très bien au Mexique. Le site était propre et la sargasse était ramassée tôt le matin. Nous avons été déçus des bars... Tous nos breuvages goûtaient le « chimique », comme les drinks déjà fait en bouteille comme au Dollarama. Il y a de l'animation, des parties dans d'autres hôtels où des shuttles nous transportent, ce qui garde notre hôtel tranquille, ce qu'on apprécie beaucoup. Somme toute nous avons aimé le Riu Latino et y retournerions sans problème. 4/5 ⭐️

New hotel, comfortable rooms, beautiful beach, and a lovely pool and water slide setup. Our stay was relaxing and fun. The staff is really friendly, and Nelly on the buffet terrace is lovely. This RIU allows you to participate in all the parties at other RIU hotels, with transportation included. We will definitely return to this hotel.
Hôtel neuf, chambres confortables, plage magnifique, configuration piscine et glissades d'eau agréable. Notre séjour fut reposant et divertissant. Le personnel est vraiment sympathique, Nelly sur la terrasse du buffet est adorable. Ce RIU permet de participer à tous les party des autres Hôtel RIU, transport inclut. Nous retournerons à cet Hôtel.

Stay from June 14th to 21st, 2026. Very nice, very well-maintained hotel; there was always someone cleaning/mopping the floors and mopping and tidying the flowerbeds. Excellent service at the bars and restaurants. The hotel wasn't at full capacity, but there were still plenty of people, which added a lively atmosphere during the quieter periods. Yes, there can be some noisy people late at night, but it's a Riu; you have to expect that, and it can happen elsewhere too. There's a shuttle to the Riu Caribe or Dunamar for the Riu Parties. The beach is beautiful; you can walk for a long time. In short, we would definitely go back.
Séjour du 14 au 21 juin 2026. Très bel hôtel très bien entretenu, toujours quelqu'un qui nettoie/essuie le plancher, coupe et nettoie les platebandes. Excellent service aux bars et restaurants. Hôtel pas rempli à pleine capacité mais quand même beaucoup de gens ce qui dynamise la semaine en période plus creuse. Oui il peut y avoir des gens bruyants tard le soir/nuit mais c'est un Riu, il faut s'en attendre et ça peut arriver ailleurs aussi. Navette pour aller au Riu Caribe ou Dunamar pour les Riu Party. Très belle plage, on peut marcher longtemps. En résumé, nous pourrions y retourner sans problème
