Riu Palace Baja California

We loved our stay! The hotel is superbly maintained and very clean. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. A huge shout-out to Jesus at the Daiquiri bar! The pools are spotless and the service is excellent! The activities are well-balanced, offering something for everyone, with access to other nearby RIU resorts. This hotel has a lively atmosphere, but it's not the place to party. The beach is beautiful, but not very suitable for swimming due to the strong waves. If you're going to this hotel to swim in the sea, it's not ideal. You can walk a little further along the beach to swim in the water safely. In short, it's a beautiful destination and a beautiful hotel!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour! L’hôtel est super bien entretenue, très propre. Le personnel est super gentil et attentionné. Gros coup de cœur pour Jesus au bar Daiquiri!
Les piscines sont super propres et le service y est excellent!
Les activités sont bien dosées et on a accès à tous les genres selon nos envies avec l’accès aux autres RIU plus près. Cet hôtel est animé, mais c’est pas là qu’on y fait le « party »
La plage est magnifique, mais peu baignable étant donné les vagues très fortes. Si vous allez à cet hôtel pour vous baignez dans la mer, ce n’est pas l’idéal. On peut marcher un peu sur la la plage et aller un peu plus loin pour s’y baigner en sécurité.
En résumé, c’est une très belle destination et très bel hôtel!

Very nice hotel, perfect holiday

Très bel hôtel, vacances parfaites

I went to the RIU Baja the last week of November 2025, and I really enjoyed my week. The resort isn't too big, and even though I was traveling solo, I didn't feel lonely. Check-in went smoothly, and my room was exactly as pictured on the website. It was very clean, and the staff was friendly. I had access to the other RIU resorts, but I only went to see the Riu parties, which are really fun. I mostly ate at the buffet; there was a good selection, and they do their best to offer variety. The pool by the sea is beautiful; you can sit there with the sea always in the background. I have two small suggestions for improvement: the grill by the pool always smells like it's cooking, and in the evenings before the show, there could be a little more dancing.

Je suis allé au RIU BAJA la dernière semaine de Novembre 2025, et j'ai beaucoup aimé ma semaine. Le resort n'est pas trop gros et même si je voyageais solo je n'ai pas eu l'impression d'être seul. L'enregistrement s'est bien passé et ma chambre était fidèle aux photos du site. Très propre et personnel sympathique. J'avais accès aux autres RIU, mais suis seulement allé pour voir les Riu party qui sont vraiment le fun. J'ai surtout mangé au buffet, bon choix et ils font tout pour varier. La piscine près de la mer est magnifique, tu es assis et tu as toujours la mer en arrière plan. J'ai deux petits points qui pourraient être améliorés: Le grill près de la piscine dégage toujours un odeur de cuisson et le soir avant le spectacle il pourrait y avoir un peu de danse.

Beautiful, clean hotel, impeccable service, ideal location for sightseeing. I highly recommend it! However, we were supposed to have access to the restaurants at other hotels, which wasn't the case, but we were delighted with the on-site restaurants. Dana is one of my top hotels to date!

Magnifique hôtel propre, service impeccable, localisation idéale pour aller visiter. Je le recommande fortement! Par contre nous devions avoir accès aux restos des autres hôtels et ce n'était pas le cas mais nous avons été comblé avec les restos sur place. Dana mes tops hôtels à date!
