Located in the heart of Cancun, yet retaining a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. A luxurious hotel with Greco-Roman decor. Attentive and caring staff. Excellent and varied cuisine. Three pools to suit different moods. Plenty of beach and pool chairs. The beach is a bit narrow, but the water is crystal clear. The room could use some updating, but it's perfectly adequate. The only downside, and it's not about the hotel itself but rather the lack of consideration shown by some guests: playing music from their phones by the pool in the quieter areas, and not being able to tolerate the amount of alcohol and the level of conversation typical of such a tranquil and elegant setting. In short, a heavenly stay, highly recommended.

Trois piscines selon l'ambiance recherchée. Grand nombres de chaises de plages et piscines. Plage un peu étroite mais eau cristalline. Chambre aurait besoin d'un certain rafraîchissement mais c'est correct. Le seul bémol, et il ne concerne pas l'hôtel mais plutôt le manque de savoir-vivre de certains clients; faire jouer leur musique via leur téléphone à la piscine côté tranquille, ne pas savoir supporter la quantité d'alcool et le niveau agréable d'une conversation dans ce genre de lieu qui traduit tranquilité et élégance. Bref, séjour paradisiaque, à recommander.

A charming, classically decorated hotel (wood paneling, stained glass windows) that is exceptionally well-maintained. The buffet offers a wide variety of food. Excellent à la carte restaurants are available without reservations. The staff is charming and attentive. It provides access to other nearby Riu hotels, including the Riu Caribe, which boasts a magnificent, large, seaweed-free beach. Unfortunately, the beach at the Palace Las Americas is shallow and plagued by seaweed (there's no machinery to collect and remove it, only a few men who are insufficient to handle the task).

Hôtel au charme classique (boiseries, vitraux) particulièrement bien entretenu. Nourriture variée au buffet. Excellents restaurants à la carte, accessibles sans réservation. Personnel charmant et avenant. Donne accès à d'autres Riu à proximité, dont le Riu Caribe qui a une magnifique grande plage sans algues. Very good but lukewarm buffet. A la carte restaurant requires no reservations, but for the steakhouse you have to arrive around 6:30 p.m. to get a seat. The restaurant closes too early. The drinks are very ordinary.

Buffet très bon mais tiède. Restaurant à la carte sans réservation par contre le steak house vous devez arriver vers 18h30 pour avoir une place. Restaurant qui ferment trop tôt.

Overall, the hotel was good. The room was in dire need of renovation. The beach was small and the seabed had large rocks. Disappointed with the beach, unfortunately there was seaweed that made the water brown. The service and cleanliness were impeccable. The buffet food was an 8 and the restaurant a 6.

Hôtel en général bien. Chambre aurait grand besoin d’être rénovées. La plage petite et fond mer a de grosses roches. Déçue de la plage malheureusement il y avait des algues qui rendait l’eau brune. Le service et propreté impeccable. Nourriture au buffet un 8 et resto 6.
