It was my first solo trip, I was stressed, but the staff were lovely and the hotel is beautiful. There's a quieter family pool and an adults-only pool with a bar that has lots of entertainment and is a great place to meet people. The food was excellent with plenty of choices and options. The rooms weren't overly luxurious, but they were very clean and well-equipped. There was some seaweed on the beach, but that's beyond their control. For those who like to go out, there are Riu parties, a club, and even water slides. I was able to compare it with other hotels in the area, and in terms of quality, atmosphere, and price, I think the Riu Palace Punta Cana was ideal for what I needed: a mix of peace and quiet and lively entertainment. Thank you to the entire team, I would definitely go back ❤️

C’était mon premier voyage seule, j’étais stressée mais le personnel est adorable l’hôtel est très beau.
Il y a une piscine familiale plus calme et une piscine pour adulte avec un bar avec beaucoup d’animation et où faire des rencontres facilement.
La nourriture était excellente beaucoup de choix et d’option, les chambres n’était pas trop luxueuse par contre mais très propre et bien équipée.
Il y a eu des algues sur la plage mais c’est hors de leur contrôle.
Pour ceux qui aiment sortir il y a les riu party, un club et même des glissades d’eau. J’ai pu comparé avec les autres hôtels du coin et qualité ambiance et prix je pense que le riu palace punta cana était idéal pour ce dont j’avais besoin mélange de calme et d’animation.
Merci à toute leur équipe, j’y retournerait certainement ❤️

The staff is incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and the service is impeccable 👌. Everything is close by; you can even step out of your room and go to the restaurant without getting wet if it's raining. The food is excellent at both the buffet and à la carte restaurants, although we did arrive a few times to find empty plates. It was very crowded... Last year, it was cold in the buffet restaurant, but this year it was perfect. The beach is perfect, with chairs for everyone in the shade or in the sun. The evening shows are much too loud; we had to use earplugs to tolerate them. In short, this is our second time at this hotel, and we are very satisfied. 😊

Tout est proche, on peut même sortir de la chambre et aller au restaurant sans se faire mouiller si il pleut. La nourriture est excellente au buffet et restaurants à la carte sauf que nous sommes arrivés qq fois devant des plats vides. Il y avait beaucoup de monde...L’an passé, il faisait froid dans le restaurant du buffet et cette année, c'était parfait. La plage, parfaite, il y a des chaises pour tout le monde à l'ombre ou au soleil.
Les spectacles du soir, le son est beaucoup trop fort, nous avons dû utiliser des bouchons dans les oreilles pour le tolérer. En résumé, 2ième fois à cet hôtel et sommes très satisfaits. 😊

We were a group and everyone got sick with diarrhea followed by the flu or Covid… There was a glaring lack of hand sanitizer, the cleaning was rushed, but the à la carte restaurant, room, and beach were very nice. The lunch buffet was a bit repetitive.
