Riu Palace Riviera Maya

We loved the hotel; it was very clean in all the common areas, and the rooms were very comfortable. The service was worthy of a palace. We opted for the Elite Club for the quieter areas, such as the restaurants and the adults-only pool. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for the private access. The sea was invaded by sargassum seaweed, so we couldn't swim all week. It's very sad to see that we bear a large responsibility for this change on our planet. Overall, the hotel is superb; we had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it.

Nous avons aimés l’hôtel très propre dans tout les espaces communs et le chambre sont très confortable, le service est digne d’un palace, nous avons pris le élite club pour les espaces tranquilles comme les restaurants le piscine adultes seulement un peu dispendieux mais ça veut la peine pour avoir des accès privé
La mer a été envahi pas les sargasses nous avons pas peu nous baigner de la semaine, très triste à voir que nous avons une grande responsabilité à ce changement sur notre planète
En gros l’hôtel est superbe très beau séjour je recommande

Les piscines sont trop petites et trop chaudes dans un contexte où la plage n'est pas accessible avec les sargasses.

There were five of us, and we all loved this hotel. Located in Playacar, we walked a lot outside the hotel and felt safe. There's a small market not too far away. If you can walk further, you can leave Playacar and go to the famous 5th Avenue with its many shops; otherwise, a taxi isn't too expensive. As for the hotel itself, we all agree it was perfect. Spotlessly clean, everything was delicious, not too much entertainment or loud music (which we like), shows every night, and a beautiful beach. During our stay, there was no sargassum seaweed. Unfortunately, this hotel comes with a price tag that we can't afford at any time of year. We're lucky to be able to travel during the off-season; otherwise, it's far too expensive for us. It's a shame because we would definitely go back!

Nous étions 5 et nous avons tous adoré cet hôtel. Situé dans Playacar, nous avons beaucoup marché à l'extérieur de l'hôtel en se sentant en sécurité. Il y a un petit bazar pas trop loin. Si vous pouvez marcher plus longtemps, vous pouvez sortir de Playacar et vous rendre sur la fameuse 5ième avenue avec ses nombreux magasins.. sinon le taxi ne coûte pas trop cher.
Tant qu'à l'hôtel, nous sommes unanime que c'était parfait. Excessivement propre, tout était délicieux, pas trop d'animation et de musique forte (Nous on aime ça comme ça), des spectacles tous les soirs et belle plage. Dans la période où nous avons été il n'y avait pas de sargasse. Cet hôtel vient malheureusement avec un prix que nous ne pouvons pas payer à n'importe quel moment de l'année. Nous avons la chance de pouvoir voyager en saison basse, sinon il est hors de prix pour nous. Dommage car nous y retournerions !

Glad we tried it, but it wasn't a favorite! The Riu Palace Costa Mujeres is much better!
