Royalton Bavaro

We had a wonderful week at the Royalton in Punta Cana! 🌴☀️ From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the place and the excellent service provided throughout the day. The staff is attentive, friendly, and truly contributes to making your stay enjoyable. And what can I say about the lazy river… a real gem! 😍 I loved relaxing there and fully enjoying it. The only slight downside for me was the beach, where there was a lot of sargassum seaweed. However, I knew it was that time of year and I was expecting it, so it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the vacation. We had a fantastic stay and I recommend the Royalton without hesitation. A truly wonderful experience that I will cherish! ❤️🌴

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine au Royalton à Punta Cana ! 🌴☀️ Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été impressionnés par la propreté des lieux et l’excellent service offert tout au long de la journée. Le personnel est attentionné, souriant et contribue vraiment à rendre le séjour agréable.

Et que dire de la rivière tranquille… un vrai coup de cœur ! 😍 J’ai adoré m’y détendre et en profiter pleinement.

Le seul petit bémol pour moi a été la plage, où il y avait beaucoup de sargasses. Par contre, je savais que c’était la période et je m’y attendais, alors cela n’a pas diminué le plaisir de mes vacances.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et je recommande le Royalton sans aucune hésitation. Une très belle expérience que je garderai en souvenir ! ❤️🌴

The resort is very large, so expect to do a lot of walking. We waited two hours upon arrival for our room in block 18. We changed rooms because there was a musty smell and the swim-out wasn't working. Block 13 was perfect. The buffets are repetitive, but the Japanese restaurant and steakhouse are excellent. A solid 10/10 for the river; bring your own tubes as they only have a few. Overall, it's very good. I give it an 8/10.

Le site est très grand, attendez vous à marcher. Nous avons attendu 2 heures à notre arrivée pour avoir la chambre dans le bloc 18. Nous avons changé de chambre car il y avait une senteur d’humidité et le swimout ne fonctionnait pas. Le bloc 13 etait parfait. Les buffets sont redondants, le japonais est parfait ainsi que le steak house. Un gros 10/10 pour la rivière, apporter vos tubes car ils en ont que quelques un. En général c’est très bien. Je donne un 8/10

The Royalton Bávaro grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, but honestly, I don't consider this hotel a true 5-star. Personally, I'd give it more of a 3.5 to 4-star rating. Several things unfortunately affected our stay. The staff wasn't generally very welcoming, and on several occasions, we felt like we were bothering them. Some employees even had a rather arrogant or unpleasant attitude. As for the food, the buffet was quite ordinary and didn't meet my expectations for a hotel in this category. A recurring problem was the lack of plates, both at the buffet and at the food trucks. It was quite frustrating to have to wait just to eat. We also had a full day without water in our room, so it was impossible to shower or even wash. Check-in was also delayed. The rooms are modern, but their layout lacks privacy, especially when traveling with family. There's very little private space to change clothes. The toilet is tiny and separate, while the large shower leaves the floor completely wet. This makes it difficult to find a dry, private place to undress or change. In short, the potential is there, as the location is truly beautiful, but the service, the food, and several organizational issues are definitely not up to 5-star standards. For the price and the advertised category, I expected much better.

Le site du Royalton Bávaro est très beau et bien entretenu, mais honnêtement, je ne considère pas cet hôtel comme un véritable 5 étoiles. Personnellement, je lui donnerais plutôt une note de 3,5 à 4 étoiles.

Plusieurs éléments ont malheureusement affecté notre séjour. Le personnel n’était généralement pas très accueillant et, à plusieurs occasions, nous avons eu l’impression de déranger. Certains employés avaient même une attitude plutôt arrogante ou peu agréable.

Côté nourriture, le buffet était assez ordinaire et ne correspondait pas à mes attentes pour un hôtel de cette catégorie. Un problème qui revenait constamment était le manque d’assiettes, autant au buffet qu’aux food trucks. C’était assez frustrant de devoir attendre simplement pour pouvoir manger.

Nous avons également eu une journée complète sans eau dans notre chambre, donc impossible de prendre une douche ou même de se laver. Le check-in a aussi été retardé.

Les chambres sont modernes, mais leur aménagement manque énormément d’intimité, surtout lorsqu’on voyage en famille. Il y a très peu d’espace privé pour se changer. La toilette est minuscule et séparée, tandis que la grande douche laisse le plancher complètement mouillé. Il devient donc difficile de trouver un endroit sec et privé pour se déshabiller ou se changer.

Bref, le potentiel est là, car le site est vraiment beau, mais le service, la nourriture et plusieurs problèmes d’organisation ne sont définitivement pas au niveau d’un 5 étoiles. Pour le prix et la catégorie annoncée, je m’attendais à beaucoup mieux.

The staff is very friendly, but they forget everything: they forget to clean our room, our drinks ordered at the restaurant, our towels, to refill the minibar, and even our appetizers, which arrived at the same time as our main course. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and the staff are friendly, but the à la carte restaurants are difficult to book. We had to be on the app at midnight to get a reservation in three days.

Le personnel est tres sympathique mais ils oublient tout, oublier de nettoyer notre chambre, nos verres commander au restaurant, nos serviettes, de remplir le mini bar et meme nos entrée qui sont arriver en même temps que notre repas principal.

Belle hotel, propre et personnel sympathique mais les restaurant a la carte sont difficiles a réserver. Nous devons etre sur l'application a minuit pour avoir un restaurant dans 3 jours.
