The room had only one bathroom and a single sink, which wasn't enough for a family of five. The children's bunk beds had stairs that looked like they were about to collapse. Room service was good. The buffet was closed without warning, requiring a walk to the other Royalton hotel. The walk there took an estimated 25 minutes, as there were far too few (almost no) shuttles for the number of guests. The wait at the buffet was very long, as they were trying to serve both hotels simultaneously. There was very little service at the buffet tables. We had to bring our own water, otherwise it was only available at the end of the meal. We were constantly chasing after the dishes. There was a serious shortage of plates! The entertainment around the pool was very boring. The entertainment staff were just having fun amongst themselves instead of focusing on activities to entertain the tourists. They didn't even bother to acknowledge a 10-year-old's birthday. The foam party was fun, though. The bartenders ignored the children. The Italian restaurant was at least 45 minutes late. The package includes many restaurants, but the same ones are always available. The Mexican and Asian restaurants were very good! The steps on the water slides are falling apart. The beach is far away, and there isn't much space allocated to the Royalton Splash hotel. The lobby is practically nonexistent and uninviting. There's no place to sit or socialize. This hotel needs extensive renovations and is a complete failure.

Chambre avec une salle de bain seulement et un seul lavabo ce qui n'est pas beaucoup avec une famille de 5. Lits superposés des enfants dont les escaliers étaient sur le bord de s'écrouler. Bon service aux chambres.

Le buffet a été fermé sans préavis. Une marche vers l'autre hôtel Royalton s'impose. Estimation de 25 minutes pour se rendre, car trop peu (quasi inexistant) de navettes pour le nombre de clients. Très long temps d'attente au buffet pour contenter les deux hôtels à la fois. Très peu de service au table du buffet. On avait besoin d'apporter notre eau, sinon on en avait seulement à la fin du repas. On courait après la vaisselle. Un gros manque d'assiette !

Animation autour de la piscine très ennuyeuse. Le personnel d'animation s'amusent entre eux au lieu de s'intéresser aux activités pour amuser les touristes. Ils n'ont même pas pris la peine de souligner la fête d'un enfant de 10 ans. Le party de mousse est amusant.

Les barmans ignorent les enfants.

Retard d'au moins 45 minutes au restaurant italien. Le forfait inclus beaucoup de restaurants, mais toujours les mêmes sont disponibles. Mexicain et asiatique très bons !

Les marches des glissades d'eau tombent en lambeaux.

La plage est loin et pas beaucoup d'espace alloué à l'hôtel Royalton splash.

Le lobby est inexistant et n'est pas invitant. Aucune place pour s'asseoir et socialisé.

Cet hôtel demandé beaucoup de rénovations et est un FAIL sur toute la ligne.

We spent a week as a family at the Royalton Splash. The staff was very friendly, and we received excellent service even though we weren't in the Diamond Club. The pools are perfect, and the water park is also good, although the wave pool was never operational. The beach is very average. Things really fell apart with the food. The buffet wasn't air-conditioned, so it was extremely hot to eat at, and there was a distinct lack of variety. It closed a few days before our departure for renovations; we had to go to the far end of the Royalton Punta Cana resort to eat (still no air conditioning). The à la carte restaurants were very disappointing, and a member of our family suffered from food poisoning after a meal at the seafood restaurant. We travel a lot, and this is the first time this has happened to us. We will not return to this resort, and we do not recommend it.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine en famille au royalton Splash. Le personnel est très sympathique, nous avons eu un excellent service même si nous n'étions pas en diamond club. Les piscines sont parfaites et le parc aquatique est bien également, même si la piscine à vague n'a jamais été en fonction. La plage est très moyenne. Ça se gâche au niveau de la nourriture. Le buffet n'était pas climatisé, donc extrêmement chaud pour manger et il manque nettement de variétés. Il a fermé quelques jours avant notre départ pour rénovation ; nous devions nous rendre à l'extrémité du site du royalton punta cana pour manger ( toujours pas de climatisation) . Les restaurants à la carte étaient très décevants et un membre de notre famille a souffert d'une intoxication alimentaire à la suite d'un repas au restaurant de fruits de mer. Nous voyageons beaucoup et c'est la première fois que ça nous arrive. Nous ne retournerons pas à ce resort et nous ne le recommandons pas.

We loved our holiday. The hotel is very nice, the bed comfortable, and the service impeccable. The water slides are great, and there are plenty of staff to supervise. I recommend it for a family holiday.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé nos vacances, l'hôtel est tres bien,lit confortable,le service est impeccable. Les glissades d'eau sont tres bien et beaucoup de personnels pour la surveillance. Je le conseille pour vacance en famille.

Two water leaks in the room which was dirty. The pools are dirty.

Deux dégâts d’eau dans la chambre qui étais malpropre. Les piscines sont sales.
