The beach had a lot of sargassum seaweed, even with a lot of effort to remove it. The place was clean, and the staff were excellent and friendly. The food was very good. The pools are usually beautiful and clean, but sometimes a bit neglected because tourists don't use the designated areas to rinse their sandy feet and go right into the pools. They also drag their empty or half-full drinks glasses all over the edges and sometimes even into the pools. This was our third visit in a year, and this time, since Cuba (which is cheaper) is closed to tourists, there are many more tourists who don't know how to behave, which is a shame for this resort because it was much better in September and December 2025 than in May 2026.

Belles piscines propres habituellement, mais parfois un peu négligée car les touristes n’utilisent pas les endroits pour rincer leurs pieds plein de sable et rentre dans les piscines, aussi ils les traîner leurs verres de boissons vides ou à moitié plein un peu partout sur les bords et parfois dans les piscines. C’était la troisième fois en un an que nous y allions et cette fois-ci, depuis que Cuba ( moins cher) est fermé aux touristes, il y a beaucoup plus de touristes qui ne savent pas vivre et c’est dommage pour ce resort car c’était super bien en septembre et décembre 2025 plutôt qu’en mai 2026.

My only negative point, apart from the brown sea and the seaweed, is the fact that we didn't have a room with 2 beds; we had an uncomfortable camp bed because we didn't want to pay a $580 USD upgrade for a 5-day stay… Keep that in mind!
Mon seul point négatif à part la mer brune et les algues, est le fait de ne pas avoir eu une chambre avec 2 lits, on a eu un lit de camp inconfortable car on ne voulait pas payer un surclassement de 580$ US pour un séjour de 5 jours …

The butlers provided excellent service. The food was superb, the pools were lovely, and the staff were courteous. The only downside was the abundance of sargassum seaweed.

Great hotel for families!
Hôtel très bien pour famille!
The hotel is great for families with children of all ages, with a water park and a children's pool. The only problem is the towel system at the pool; everyone reserves chairs with their towels, and even groups of four reserve eight or more (to get four in the sun and four in the shade). A card system would be much better controlled.
Hôtel très bien pour famille avec enfants de tous âges, avec parc aquatique et piscine pour les jeunes. Le seule problème et le jeux des serviettes à la piscine, tout le monde ce réserve des chaises avec leurs serviettes et même vue des groupes de 4 en réserver 8 et plus (pour avoir 4 au soleil et 4 à l'ombre) avoir un système de cartes le tout serais bcp mieux contrôlé.
