Beautiful stay

We really liked the hotel. The water park is great for kids. The pools are huge and you don't feel cramped at all. We were Diamond Club guests and loved their pool and lazy river. The beach is beautiful, but the water isn't clear. We were there during sargassum season, so we knew what to expect. The à la carte restaurants are very good; we tried them all except Taj. Our butler made all our reservations. The buffet is good. There isn't much daytime entertainment, and the evening shows are just okay. The staff are all very kind and courteous. In short, we liked it, but in our opinion, it lacked a Mexican atmosphere. The few times there was music, it was always American music. There wasn't much Mexican food either.

More... Less...Le parc aquatique est vraiment bien pour les jeunes. Les piscines sont immenses et on ne se sent pas du tout coincés. Nous étions Diamond Club et avons adoré sa piscine et lazy river.
La plage est très belle mais l’eau n’est pas claire. Nous étions en saison de sargasses, nous savions donc à l’avance ce qui nous attendait.
Les restos à la carte sont très bons, nous les avons tous essayé sauf Taj. Notre butler nous a fait toutes nos réservations . Le buffet est bien .
Il n’y a pas beaucoup d’animation dans le jour et les spectacles du soir sont corrects sans plus.
Les employés sont tous très gentils et courtois.
Bref nous avons bien aimé mais à notre goût il manquait l’ambiance mexicaine. Le peu de fois où il y avait de la musique c’était toujours de la musique américaine. Il n’y avait pas beaucoup de nourriture mexicaine également .

Fantastic week with the family!! Clean and spacious room. The shower was a bit of a problem, though; it flooded every day!! The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the à la carte restaurants were amazing!! I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Wonderful holiday in a superb hotel
Très belles vacances dans un superbe hôtel
We loved our week-long stay at Royalton Splash. The food is top-notch, always something good to eat. The small café is excellent for all-day coffee breaks and snacks, sandwiches, etc. The ice cream and sorbet stand was excellent; my kids loved it. The water slides, although two of the larger ones were closed for repainting, were still fun and entertaining. For dinner, we ate from the à la carte restaurants all week; there were no problems making reservations through the app. The staff is superb, so kind and helpful, although it seems like no one offers tips, which is really disappointing. The lazy river is cool, and the pools and activities (tennis, pickleball, pool competitions) are truly superb. The gym is really well-equipped and never too crowded; I loved working out there and also enjoyed the classes offered by the gym staff. The beach is absolutely fantastic. It's empty, the water's way too warm to be enjoyable, and with a tractor collecting the sasgasm all day long, really, don't go to Mexico for the beach! The evening shows were OK! It's a very family-oriented resort, so the nightlife is practically nonexistent, but for us, it wasn't the end of the world because we wanted to be early risers. All in all, a very nice resort; I'd go back tomorrow!
Nous avons adoré notre séjour d'une semaine au Royalton Splash. La nourriture est A1, toujours quelque part et quelque chose à manger de bon. Le petit café est excellent pour des cafés à journée longue et des collations, sandwiches, etc. La place de crème glacée et sorbet, excellent, mes enfants ont adoré. Les glissades d'eau, malgré que 2 des grandes glissades étaient fermées pour repeindre, étaient quand même plaisantes et divertissantes. Les restos le soir, nous avons mangé dans les à-la-cartes toute la semaine, aucun problème de réservation sur l'application. Le staff est superbe, tellement gentils et aidant malgré le fait qu'on dirait que personne offre des pourboires, vraiment désolant. Le lazy river est cool, les piscines et les activités (tennis, pickleball, compétitions à la pisicne), vraiment superbes. Le gym est vraiment bien équipé, jamais trop occupé, j'ai adoré m'y entraîner et j'ai aussi aimé les cours offerts par le staff du gym. La plage, absolument rien à voir. Elle est vide, l'eau beaucoup trop chaude pour être plaisante, et avec un tracteur qui ramasse le sasgasm à journée longue, vraiment, n'allez pas au Mexique pour la plage! Les shows du soir, c'était OK! Un resort très familial alors le ''night-life'' n'est pas existant, mais pour nous, ce n'était pas la fin du monde car on voulait être lève-tôt. Tout et en tout, un très beau resort, j'y retournerais demain!
