Very nice, clean resort!
Très beau resort propre!
We loved our trip to this superb resort! It's not the beaches of Cayo Santa Maria or Varadero, but it was still great. The pools and grounds were clean. The food was a bit better than average in Cuba. The room was very nice, and the elevators worked well in all the buildings. I highly recommend it!
Nous avons adoré notre voyage dans ce superbe resort! Ce n’est pas la plage de cayo Santa Maria ou varadero mais c’était bien quand même. Les piscines étaient propres ainsi que les lieux. La bouffe était un peu mieux que la moyenne à Cuba. La chambre était très bien avec des ascenseurs fonctionnel a tout les bâtiments. Je le conseille!!!

Parfait
Everything was magical. With the Privilege package, you have a butler, which is excellent (Yosbel was magical and attentive). The restaurant was delicious, and the property was sublime. The beach was magnificent with very little seaweed. There was a lot of choice, but no chicken of the week, but everything else was wow! The Japanese restaurant was perfect and tasty. You won't be disappointed. For peace and quiet, choose the adults-only Sanctuary. For a party, choose Merories.

Embargo and oil shortage
Embargo et manque de pétrole
This is the first time I've been disappointed in Cuba. But it's not the Cubans' fault; it's the fault of a reinforced embargo that's causing shortages of everything in the country. Airlines have just stopped flights to Cuba due to these shortages. The Cubans were dedicated and welcoming as always. I blame WestJet more for sending us into a precarious situation that they were already aware of. The weather wasn't great either, but no one can blame them for that! I can't wait to go back to Cuba, but in a different economic context. Right now, Cubans need humanitarian aid and can no longer provide for tourists if they themselves can't provide for their families.

Les compagnies aériennes viennent d’arrêter les vols vers Cuba. Dues aux manques de tout.
Les cubains ont été dévoués et accueillants comme toujours. Je blâme plus WestJet qui nous envoie dans une situation précaire que eux savaient déjà..
La température n’était pas aux rendez-vous non plus, mais ça, personne ne peut blâmer!
J’ai hâte de retourner à Cuba, mais dans un contexte économique différent.
Présentement les cubains ont besoin d’aide humanitaire et ne peuvent plus subvenir aux besoins des touristes, si eux mêmes ne peuvent subvenir aux bien-être de leurs proches.
