Experience an authentic Mexican vacation at the Sandos Playacar Hotel in Riviera Maya, an all-inclusive resort located on a stunning Playacar beach, a short distance from Playa del Carmen and approximately 60 km from Cancún Airport. This 4-star resort features family and adults-only sections. Each spacious room is decorated in tropical colors and includes a plasma TV, a stocked minibar, and a private balcony. The Select Club Adults Only section is located on the oceanfront and is exclusively for guests aged 18 and over. Guests staying in this section have access to the exclusive adults-only beachfront pool, private beach, VIP bars, and much more. The family section offers excellent accommodation options for up to 5 people and is located near the main pool and water park.

The resort is located on one of the most beautiful beaches on the Riviera Maya, a private 800-meter stretch of white sand lined with palapas and lounge chairs. The resort boasts an impressive number of pools, including four for children, an oceanfront water park, and a scuba diving center. We will definitely return. Everything was perfect; the cleanliness of the place, the quality of the food, and the beach was magnificent despite the sargassum seaweed.

Overall it was a relaxing trip, the hotel is clean, the food is wasn’t amazing but good enough and there’s a variety to choose from and the beach was clean and beautiful. We went with another family and the hotel is missing entertainment during the day (pool side and beach) and in the evening. There’s only one show from 9-10pm and if you don’t like the theme there isn’t anything else going on. We would have liked to have more activities for adults and older kids.
