I was quite hesitant about this hotel because of some of the reviews I had read.
First of all, I want to mention that I’ve stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, including several 4-star and higher-rated hotels.
The staff
Some reviews mentioned that the staff wasn’t very attentive or didn’t listen to guests. In my experience, I was polite and I was treated like a queen. The staff is friendly, attentive, and the portions are very generous. Special mention to Félix, Maria, Nelson, Alberto, Adalberto, Rosemary, Sarah, and many others! ❤️
The food
First of all, the Italian restaurant was amazing. The carbonara was excellent.
At the sushi restaurant, everything was delicious and very fresh.
The buffet was varied and, contrary to some of the reviews I had read, everything was hot and there was plenty of variety.
The rooms
The rooms are clean, beautiful, modern, and look brand new. Personally, the shower door wasn’t an issue because I was staying with my boyfriend, but the shower door is transparent. So, for a family, you would probably have to cover it with a towel. For a couple, though, it’s perfectly fine!
The entertainment
In the evening, the rooftop is really fun! However, there isn’t a lot of big entertainment, so if you still want to relax in the evening, it’s perfect. There was barely any noise, which was exactly what I wanted.
The facilities
The facilities are clean, modern, and look brand new.
Overall, I had an amazing stay and honestly had a dream vacation! I definitely recommend this hotel, and I’m really glad I didn’t let the negative reviews influence my decision too much. ❤️

Perhaps 20% of the staff can speak English; otherwise, be prepared to speak Spanish. The service at the buffet is extremely slow; it takes about 10 minutes to get a coffee in the morning, even when the dining area is only 50% full.
Peut être 20% du personnel est capable de répondre en anglais sinon préparez vous à parler Espagnol. Le service est extrêmement lent au buffet, genre 10 minutes pour avoir un café le matin même si la salle est occupée seulement à 50%.

A beautiful hotel worth discovering

I really enjoyed this hotel, which is just under two hours from Punta Cana. The room was lovely, the buffet food was good, and there were two à la carte restaurants. It had a nice little private beach, free of seaweed and vendors, right next to the public beach in Boca Chica. There was also a snack bar, a gym, and a small café. The only downside was the music, which could be loud from the upstairs terrace in the evenings, or from the Corona terrace restaurant on the beach, which has a DJ. It could be difficult to read a book or sleep. There should be more umbrellas on the beach. I had a group of over 600 people there for a sporting competition, which luckily wasn't during the day. As a result, the buffet was full and noisier at lunch and dinner. Since the hotel was full, there weren't many locals over the weekend. There were few Canadians, mostly people from the United States with roots in the Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico. It would be great to be able to land directly at Santo Domingo airport, which is only 15 minutes away, instead of Punta Cana. I would go back. Have a great vacation!
J’ai bien aimé cet hôtel à un peu moins de 2 heures de Punta Cana. Belle chambre, bonne nourriture au buffet et 2 restos à la carte. Belle petite plage privée sans algue et sans vendeur à côté de la plage publique de Boca Chica. Snack bar, gym et petit café. Seul inconvénient est la musique venant soit de la terrasse à l’étage le soir qui peut être forte ou celle venant du restaurant terrasse Corona à la plage qui a un DJ. Il peut être difficile de lire un livre ou dormir. Il devrait y avoir plus de parasol à la plage. J’ai eu un groupe de plus de 600 personnes venant pour une compétition sportive qui par chance n’était pas là durant le jour. Le buffet était donc rempli et plus bruyant au déjeuner et souper. L’hôtel étant plein, il n’y a pas eu de locaux durant le week-end. Il y a peu de canadiens. Surtout des gens venant des Etats-Unis d’origine de la République Dominicaine ou Puerto Rico. Il serait intéressant de pouvoir atterrir directement à l’aéroport de Santo Domingo qui est à 15 minutes au lieu de Punta Cana. Je retournerais. Bonnes vacances!
