Beautiful swim-out, excellent food, long clean beach, no seaweed with plenty of waves

Everything was perfect except for one small thing: for those who like rum punch-type drinks, they aren't made with real juice. They're therefore very sweet, but there are other options! It's also worth noting that the beach is a protected area for turtles that come to lay their eggs. Therefore, there are no chairs or umbrellas directly on the beach. The beach itself is beautiful and very peaceful.

Tout était parfait sauf une petite chose, pour ceux qui aiment les drinks genre rhum punch, ils ne sont pas fait avec du vrai jus. Ils sont donc très sucré mais on peut boire d’autres choses! Ils faut aussi savoir que la plage est une zone réservée pour les tortues qui viennent pondre leurs oeufs. Il n’y a donc aucune chaise ou parasol directement sur la plage. La plage est magnifique et très tranquille.

It's a bit far from the airport, but it's worth the trip.

Roughly equivalent to a Bahia Principe in terms of advantages and disadvantages, but at a higher price. Among its positive points are the beautiful beach on days without rough waves or sargassum seaweed, and the à la carte restaurants that don't require reservations. On the other hand, the buffet always offers the same bland menu, the bars lack high-quality drink brands, the gym is basic, and the umbrellas instead of palapas provide little shade on the beach.

A peu près égal à un Bahia Principe quant aux avantages et inconvénients, mais à un coût plus élevé. Parmi ses points positifs, on peut noter la plage magnifique les jours sans gros roulis des vagues ou de sargasses, et des restaurants à la carte sans réservation. En revanche le buffre offre toujours le même menu de nourriture fade, les bars manquent de marques de boisson de grande qualité, le gym est modeste, et les parasols au lieu de palapas sont peu efficaces pour faire de l'ombre à la plage.

We stayed at Secrets Playa Esmeralda from August 29th to September 5th, in the "Preferred" section, in a swim-out room. We really appreciated the comfort of our room as well as the direct access to the pool. It was a perfect vacation in every way. The grounds are immaculate, very well laid out, and offer a sea view from almost anywhere. The restaurants are good, especially the steakhouse, although I would suggest improving the atmosphere a bit, as it's rather noisy. My partner and I particularly appreciated the staff members, who were all incredibly kind and friendly. It was simply perfect!

Nous avons séjourné au Secrets Playa Esmeralda du 29 aout au 5 septembre, dans la section « Preferred », chambre avec swim out. Nous avons vraiment apprécié le confort de notre chambre ainsi que l’accès direct à la piscine. Ce fut des vacances parfaites en tous points. Le site est impeccable, très bien aménagé et permet une vue sur la mer d’à peu près n’importe où. Les restaurants sont bons, surtout le steak house, quoique j’améliorerais un peu l’ambiance, car c’est plutôt bruyant. Mon conjoint et moi avons particulièrement apprécié les membres du personnel qui sont tous aussi gentils et sympathiques les uns que les autres. C’était Juste parfait!
