Overall, I had a good stay, but I felt the price I paid for the Select Adults Only option was a bit high for what was offered. The highlights were the room, which was clean, comfortable, and well-located. I particularly appreciated its second-floor location and the partial sea view. The food was also a very pleasant surprise, and I was pleased with the variety and quality offered throughout my stay. The drinks were also quite decent. The Wi-Fi was excellent throughout the resort. I also appreciated the Google TV in the room, a detail that made the stay even more enjoyable. However, several outdoor facilities could use some updating. The stairs leading down to the beach looked very worn and didn't always inspire confidence. The sun loungers were often damaged, and several parasols required makeshift repairs to stay open. Even in the Select section, the outdoor furniture looked dated. Furthermore, the pool was under renovation during my stay. A significant portion of the resort was therefore inaccessible behind a large white fence, which detracted from the overall experience, especially since this area was near my room. Regarding the service, the staff was polite, but I would have appreciated more attention and initiative. Even though I regularly left tips, it was rare for someone to spontaneously check if everything was alright or if I needed anything. As for the atmosphere, I had read some reviews stating that the hotel was very quiet, even too quiet. This was not my impression. There was music and a pleasant ambiance without being intrusive. There was little entertainment, but this suited me perfectly as it wasn't what I was looking for. Finally, in talking with other travelers, I discovered that some had paid a significantly lower rate than I did for a very similar experience. I understand that travel prices have increased, but this contributed to my feeling that the value for money wasn't quite there. Despite this, I had a wonderful holiday thanks to the quality of the room, the food, and the beachfront location.

Même dans la section Select, le mobilier extérieur donnait une impression de vieillissement.
De plus, la piscine était en rénovation durant mon séjour. Une partie importante du site était donc inaccessible derrière une grande clôture blanche, ce qui nuisait à l'expérience générale, particulièrement puisque cette zone se trouvait près de ma chambre.
Concernant le service, le personnel était poli, mais j'aurais apprécié davantage d'attention et d'initiative. Même en laissant régulièrement des pourboires, il était rare que quelqu'un vienne spontanément vérifier si tout allait bien ou si j'avais besoin de quelque chose.

The hotel has potential but is in dire need of maintenance. The cleanliness of the common areas left much to be desired, but the room itself was clean. The food at the buffet was bland and lukewarm, and the menu was repetitive. With a few exceptions, the staff were neither friendly nor welcoming. The lack of organized entertainment suited us perfectly, but the complete absence of music anywhere created a more monastic than festive atmosphere. We were told our package was a junior suite with a sea view, but it was simply a room as there was no sitting area. We feel we paid far too much for our stay.

L'hôtel a du potentiel mais aurait besoin de beaucoup de travaux d'entretien. La propreté des aires communes laissait à désirer mais la chambre était propre. La nourriture au buffet était fade, tiède et le menu est redondant. Le personnel, à quelques exceptions près, était peu souriant et avenant. Qu'il n'y ait aucune animation nous convenait très bien mais qu'il n'y ait aucune musique où que ce soit donnait une ambiance plus monastique que festive. Le forfait nous a été vendu comme une suite junior vue mer mais en fait il s'agissait simplement d'une chambre puisqu'il n'y avait pas de coin salon. On considère avoir payer beaucoup trop cher pour notre séjour.

We had a lovely week, but it's worth noting that this isn't a luxury hotel. There's no pool or beach service, and the pool chairs are quite uncomfortable and could use replacing. The beach, however, is magnificent: the water is crystal clear, without seaweed, and the scenery is superb for swimming. We stayed in the Select section and were glad we chose it. It's quieter, and the rooms are very clean with a very comfortable bed, even if the overall style is fairly basic. The only downside was the housekeeping, which was done very late in the day (around 5 pm), and one day our room wasn't cleaned at all. The buffet is decent without being exceptional, but the ocean view is magnificent while you eat. The location is also very convenient, as the hotel is close to town, and you can easily walk there safely. In short, it's a good choice if you're not looking for a luxury hotel or top-notch service. For our part, we would go back, but knowing what to expect and perhaps bringing some snacks.

Nous avons passé une belle semaine, mais il faut savoir que ce n’est pas un hôtel de luxe. Il n’y a pas de service à la piscine ni à la plage et les chaises à la piscine sont assez inconfortables et auraient besoin d’être remplacées.

La plage est toutefois magnifique : l’eau est très claire, sans algues, et le décor est superbe pour la baignade.

Nous étions du côté Select et nous sommes contents d’avoir choisi cette section. C’est plus tranquille et les chambres sont très propres avec un lit très confortable, même si l’ensemble demeure assez simple. Le seul point négatif est l’entretien des chambres, qui se faisait très tard en fin de journée (vers 17 h), et une journée notre chambre n’a pas été faite.

Le buffet est correct sans être exceptionnel, mais la vue sur l’océan est magnifique lorsque l’on mange. L’emplacement est aussi très intéressant puisque l’hôtel est près de la ville et on peut facilement aller s’y promener à pied en toute sécurité.

En résumé, c’est un bon choix si vous ne cherchez pas un hôtel de luxe ou un service haut de gamme. Pour notre part, nous y retournerions, mais en sachant à quoi nous attendre et en apportant peut-être quelques collations.

We arrived around noon and it was impossible to get our room before 3:00 AM. After speaking with several other guests, it seems to be the same for everyone. The beach is beautiful and the water is crystal clear, but there's a serious lack of shade and palapas. Only four (4) on the entire beach is really not enough. I was glad to be in the adults-only section, although they sometimes let a few children through, but generally they enforce the adults-only rule. The staff at the bar and buffet lacked smiles. The only restaurant where you receive a warm welcome is the International. The rooms are clean, but they're cleaned very late, sometimes during the day. I once had mine cleaned at 6:00 PM, which I found too late. The buffet food is good.

En partant nous sommes arrivés vers midi et il était impossible d'avoir notre chambre avant 3h00 et après avoir parlé avec plusieurs clients c'est de même pour tout le monde. La plage est très belle et l'eau très claire mais il manque carrément d'ombre et de palapas. Quatre (4) seulement sur toute la plage c'est vraiment pas assez. J'étais bien contente d'être du côté des adultes seulement malgré que parfois ils laisse passer quelques enfants mais en général ils font respecter le côté adulte seulement. Le personnel au bar et au buffet manque de sourire. Le seul restaurant où tu est bien accueilli cette au international. Les chambres sont propres mais faites très tard parfois dans la journée je l'ai déjà eu faites à 6h00 le soir j'ai trouvé ça trop tard. La nourriture du buffet est bonne.
