The resort is beautiful, but the sea in this area is disappointing.
Très beau complexe, mais la mer à cette endroit est décevante
Despite an overall rating of almost 8 out of 10, we won't be returning. The positives: The resort is close to the airport (20 minutes max), with abundant and lush vegetation, several pools to suit all tastes and ages. It's generally well-maintained, except for a few common areas where the bathrooms are already in need of renovation, despite the resort's relatively new status. The beach is superb, with plenty of palapas. The rooms are large, well-decorated, and the mini-bar is replenished daily. There's a nice, large balcony. The lighting is tasteful and well-lit in the evening. The lobby is superb, and the coffee shop is efficient and well-located. Now for the negatives: The sea. It's an area where the sea is brownish, not very pleasant for swimming, and there are particles in the water that look like shredded sargassum seaweed. Furthermore, it's not really possible to take long walks along the beach. The main buffet is okay, but nothing special. On the other hand, the service is quick and efficient. In summary, a very nice, recently built resort, about six years old. A family resort with something for everyone. But if you're going for the beach and long walks along the shore, forget this place; the Bavaro area is much better. For this reason, we will choose this part (Bavaro) of the Punta Cana coast again from now on.
Malgré une appréciation générale de presque 8 sur 10, nous n'allons pas y retourner. Les points positifs: Complexe près de l'aéroport, 20 minutes max, végétation abondante et luxuriante, plusieurs piscines, pour tout les goûts et les âges. Bien entretenu dans l'ensemble sauf quelques aires communes où les salles de bain ont déjà besoin d'amour malgré le jeune âge du complexe. La plage est superbe, beaucoup de palapas. Les chambres sont grandes, bien décorées, mini bar rempli à chaque jour. Beau grand balcon. Bien éclairé le soir avec goût. Un lobby superbe, un coffee shop efficace et bien situé. Maintenant les moins: La mer. C'est une zone où la mer est de couleur brunâtre, pas très agréable de s'y baigner et il y a des particules dans l'eau ressemblant à des sargasses déchiquetés pour imagés. De plus, pas vraiment possible de prendre de longue marche le long de la mer. Le buffet central, OK, mais sans plus. Par contre, le service est rapide et efficace. En résumé, très beau complexe de construction récente, environ 6 ans. Complexe familiale pour tous les goûts et intérêts. Mais si vous y aller pour la mer et prendre de longue marche sur le bord de la mer, oubliez cet endroit, le secteur Bavaro convient meiux. Pour cette raison que nous allons choisir de nouveau cette partie (Bavaro) de la côte de Punta Cana dorénavant.

A beautiful family trip

We had to ask several times to change rooms because there were small bugs and no air conditioning in our first room. Also, we had asked our travel agency to put us in a room very close to our accommodation, but we were in four different blocks.
Il a juste fallu que nous demandions a plusieurs reprises pour changer de chambre car avait des petites bebitte et pas d air climatiser dans notre première chambre. Et aussi nous avions demander a notre agence de voyage d etre toute proche et nous étions dans 4 différents blocs.

A fantastic week. Nothing to complain about except that Mother Nature didn't want me to go to the sea because of the sargassum. Many people were swimming, but not me. Exceptional cleanliness everywhere. Perfect à la carte restaurant. Plenty of food.
Une semaine formidable. Rien a redire a part que dame nature ne voulais pas que j'aille a la.mer avec les sargasse. Plusieurs s'y baignais mais pas moi. Propreté exceptionnel partout. Resto a la carte parfait. Nourriture abondante

The beaches were awful, lots of seaweed, only warm water, and the swim-out pool wasn't cleaned. The buffet was very good and the pool was beautiful, but there wasn't enough entertainment.
