Not much to do except relax. Positive: Sleep every night with the sound of waves !!!, The terrace directly overlooking the sea and a swim at the exit of the room. Quiet place. Negative: No a la carte restaurant and buffet very repetitive.

Pas grand chose à faire à part relaxer. Positif : Dormir tous les soirs avec le son des vagues!!!, La terrasse qui donne directement sur la mer et pouvoir se baigner à la sortie de la chambre. Endroit calme. Négatif : Pas de resto à la carte et buffet très répétitif.

Nice welcoming lobby, wood paneling in public spaces, at Shaw Park exudes luxury of past years. It's like a journey through time! I went with my parents, my husband and my 5 month old baby and we loved the experience. It's small, intimate and family. Not for people who want to party! All rooms have balconies and sea views The sea is only meters from the balconies, it's the sound of waves that falls asleep every night! WI-FI in the lobby. One place to eat, buffet. Little variety, but absolutely EVERYTHING that was served was delicious. Different menus for every meal. So we ate very well. The "beach bar" offers a wide variety of "drinks" and the staff does not skimp on the alcohol! Everything is done outside in good weather, meals and bar. No large-scale show at the Shaw Park! A singer one night, another night a band, etc.. Nice but nothing more. The staff is very nice. The beach is quite small, but as the hotel is not great, there was plenty of space. And we should not fight for a lounger. Few marine equipment to use: a sailboat, three kayaks. But as there are not many people, so good! Possibility of snorkeling near a reef near (kayaking or swimming for strong swimmers). Do not expect luxury or of recent installations by going to the Shaw Park, but if you want to experience a "Caribbean" authentic, I think this hotel is highly regarded in! I loved it! Beau lobby accueillant, boiseries dans les espaces publics, tout au Shaw Park respire le luxe des années passées. C'est comme un voyage dans le temps! J'y suis allée avec mes parents, mon conjoint et mon bébé de 5 mois et nous avons adoré l'expérience. C'est petit, intime et familial. Pas pour les gens qui veulent faire la fiesta! Toutes les chambres ont un balcon et vue sur la mer. La mer étant à quelques mètres seulement des balcons, c'est au son des vagues qu'on s'endort tous les soirs! WI-FI gratuit dans le lobby. Un seul endroit pour manger, le buffet. Peu de variété, mais absolument TOUT ce qui a été servi était délicieux. Menus différents à tous les repas. Nous avons donc très bien mangé. Le "beach bar" offre une grande variété de "drinks" et le personnel ne lésine pas sur l'alcool! Tout se fait à l'extérieur par beau temps, les repas et le bar. Pas de spectacle à grand déploiement au Shaw Park! Un chanteur un soir, un band un autre soir, etc. Sympatique mais sans plus. Le personnel est bien gentil. La plage est assez petite, mais comme l'hotel n'est pas grand, on a beaucoup d'espace. Et on ne doit pas se battre pour avoir une chaise longue. Peu d'équipement nautique à utiliser: 1 voilier, 3 kayaks. Mais comme il n'y a pas beaucoup de monde, ça va! Possibilité de faire du snorkelling près d'un récif à proximité (en kayak ou à la nage pour les bons nageurs). Il ne faut pas s'attendre à du grand luxe ou à des installations récentes en allant au Shaw Park, mais si on veut une expérience "Caraïbes" authentique, je crois que cet hôtel est fortement à considérer! Positive: Beautiful little place, very clean. Good food in general. I had a very spacious suite (b1) with a lounge area, 2 sofas, 2 chairs, and a table with 4 chairs, recently renovated. Very comfortable bed. Meals are all served on the outdoor terrace with a sea view. Very friendly staff. Live music every night. Negative: The standard rooms need renovation. Very old building. Very slow bar service. My rating of 9 for the room is because of my suite, otherwise the standard room is rated 7.

Positif : beau petit site tres propre. bouffe bonne en general. j`avais une suite (b1) tres spacieuse avec coin salon 2 sofa 2 chaises et une table avec 4 chaises fraichement renover. lit tres confortable.
les repas sont tous servies sur la terrasse exterieur avec vue sur la mer. personnel tres gentil. musique live tous les soirs. Négatif : les chambres standard ont besoin de reno. tres vieille batisse.

The purpose of our trip was simply s evader, issue to rest in the sun and at the same time visiting a new country. The hotel allowed us to achieve our objectives perfectly and after me is the ideal place or holiday in the sun when the budget is to be emissions. The small size of the hotel and its friendly and welcoming staff allowed us to learn more about the country and its customs. We even had a director who was always there and ready to discuss with its customers, thus creating a warm and intimate atmosphere. Downtown Ocho Rios is about 30 minute walk which is very well if he is not too hot. Otherwise, there are always taxis ready to make you. In short, I don hesitate to recommend this hotel to those who wish to adopt an evader's pace of life relaxed and typical local people. Just make sure to keep in mind that you are on holiday in Jamaica and that time does ever release:) Positive: Warm and friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and relaxed, and poprete places near the city center. Negative: The food is very varied but even after 7 days, there's was not tanned.

Le but de notre voyage etait tout simplement de s evader, question de se reposer au soleil et en même temps visiter un nouveau pays. Cet hotel nous a permis d atteindre parfaitement nos objectifs et est d apres-moi l endroit ideal ou passer des vacances au soleil lorsque le budget se trouve a être serre.
La petite taille de l hotel et son personnel accueillant et amical nous a permis d apprendre d avantage sur le pays et ses coutûmes. Nous avons même connu le directeur qui etait toujours sur place et prêt a discuter avec ses clients, creant ainsi un atmosphere chaleureux et intime.
Le centre ville de Ocho Rios se trouve a environ 30 minutes de marche qui se fait tres bien s il ne fait pas trop chaud. Sinon, il y a toujours des taxis prêts a vous y apporter.
Bref, je n hesiterais pas a recommander cet hotel a ceux qui desirent s evader pour adopter un rythme de vie relaxe et typique des gens locaux. Assurez-vous tout simplement de garder en tête que vous êtes en vacances et qu en Jamaique, le temps ne presse jamais : ) Positif : Personnel chaleureux et accueillant, atmosphere intime et relaxe, poprete des lieux et proximite du centre ville. Négatif : La nourriture est peu variee mais même apres 7 jours, on ne s etait pas encore tanne.
