Cockroaches on the buffet............................toaster that doesn't toast the bread.......little or no entertainment..the same music (from Quebec) for 2 weeks)!

Good value for money.
Bon rapport qualité prix.
Some parts of the hotel could use some TLC, but I was given a lovely room with a sea view. The bathroom was clean and modern with plenty of hot water. The staff were as friendly and welcoming as ever. The food was very good and plentiful. Christmas Eve dinner was fantastic!
Certaines parties de l'hôtel aurait besoin d'amour mais j'ai eu droit à une belle chambre avec vue sur la mer. Salle de bain propre et moderne avec eau chaude à volonté. Le personnel toujours aussi souriant et accueillant. La nourriture très correct et abondante. Le souper du réveillon de Noël était fantastique!

What a beautiful resort and staff!

It was during the off-season, so we practically had the resort to ourselves... The staff were so welcoming, it was great, and there were hardly any mosquitoes either... 10/10

Relaxing without expectations

The hotel is a bit run-down but quite interesting. The staff is great! The hotel probably needs more staff to open the other restaurants. The buffet was varied; if you're imaginative and not too picky, you can manage from morning to night, switching from an omelet at lunch to good pasta and a different meat dish in the evening. The welcome was great, the service excellent, and the room comfortable.
L’hôtel manque d’entretien mais assez intéressant. Le personnel est super ! L’hôtel manque surment de personnel pour ouvrir les autres restaurants.
More... Less...Le buffet était varié, si vous êtes imaginatifs et pas difficiles, vous êtes capable de vous débrouiller du matin au soir en passant d’une omelette au déjeuner avec de bonne pâte et une viande différentes le soir.
L’accueil est super, le service extra et la chambre est confortable.

We left from September 6th to 13th as a family. It had been more than two years since I had been to Cuba for fear of not eating well due to the bad general reviews and my last trip to Varadero where the food was atrocious. But I am super happy to have given Cuba another chance! We ate really well at this hotel, we lacked nothing! There was variety and at least one new dish every day. Mango, guava, bananas, melon, freshly squeezed juice and smoothie every day! Eggs, pancakes every morning! Varied vegetables every day too. Chicken, fish, shrimp, beef, pork, legumes available, pasta bar, different kinds of rice and other starches too. Always wine, beer, rum, tequila, gin, soft drinks and others. Snack bar during the day where you can get fries and sandwiches too. The resort is clean, the rooms are super beautiful, clean and cleaned every day! It's a pretty quiet resort, otherwise there's entertainment at the pool around 4 p.m. A different theme show every night. The reception and lobby bar are super beautiful and modern. The resort has a beach and also another public beach to the left, the beaches are magnificent! There are even beds to lie down on the beach! Honestly, for a 3.5* I felt like I was in a 4*. I was pleasantly surprised and I'll definitely be back!
Nous sommes partie du 6 au 13 septembre en famille. Cela faisait plus de deux ans que je n'avais pas été a cuba par peur de ne pas bien manger dut aux mauvais commentaires général et a mon dernier voyage a varadero ou la nourriture avait été attroce. Mais je suis hyper heureuse d'avoir donne une autre chance a cuba! On a super bien mangé dans cet hôtel, on a manqué de rien! Il y avait de la variété et au moins une nouveauté de plat chaque jours. Mangue, goyave, bananes, melon, jus presser et smoothie chaque jours! Oeufs, crêpes chaque matin! Des légumes variés chaque jours également. Poulet, poisson, crevettes, boeufs, porc, légumineuses disponible, bar a pâtes, sortes de riz différentes et dautre féculents également. Toujours du vin, bière, rhum, tequila, gin, boissons gazeuses et autres. Snack bar en journée ou tu peux avoir des frites et des sandwichs aussi. Le resort est propres, les chambres sont super belles, propres er nettoyé chaque jours! C'est un resort plutôt calme sinon animations a la piscine vers 16h. Un thème de spectacle chaque soir qui était différent. La réception et le bar du lobby super beau et moderne. Le resort a une plage et aussi une autre plage qui est publique vers la gauche, les plages sont magnifiques! Il y a même des lits pour se coucher a la plage! Sincèrement pour un 3.5* j'avais l'impression d'être dans un 4* . J'ai été agréablement surprise et je vais revenir c'est certain!
