This hotel is truly beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff is friendly and attentive to the well-being of the guests. A special mention must go to Eli, who resolved a problem we had been experiencing for several days. The beach is lovely, and the beach chairs are comfortable. The food is always à la carte, and we ate very well. The wait between courses could be quite long and sometimes a little annoying, but the attention they gave to my food allergy made it all worthwhile. In short, we would be happy to return to this hotel and experience the same warm and welcoming staff again. Thank you to Gabriel and Alex for making our stay so enjoyable.

Cet hotel est vraiment beau, propre et très bien entretenu. Le personnel est avenant et préocuppé par le bien-être des clients de l’hotel. Une mention spéciale doit être faite pour Eli qui a réglé un problème pour nous qui perdurait depuis quelques jours. La plage est belle et les chaises de plages comfortables.
La bouffe est toujours à la carte et nous avons très bien mangé. L’attente entre les plats pouvaient être assez longue et parfois un peu embêtante par contre l’attention qu’ils accordaient à mon allergie alimentaire en valait la peine.
En résumé, nous serions heureux de retourner à cet hôtel et de retrouver le personnel chaleureux. Merci à Gabriel et Alex pour avoir agrémenter notre séjour.

A wonderful first experience at this small boutique hotel with à la carte restaurants and personalized service. I wholeheartedly recommend it to those who are fed up with Americanized mega-hotels where noise and food waste reign supreme, because here everything is made to order and with care. It's worth noting that there are almost no organized activities or entertainment during the day, no shows in the evening, and the lobby bar closes at 11 pm (sometimes even 10 pm!). Only two of the three restaurants are open, and they alternate (so service can be quite slow, but it's worth it given the quality and freshness of the food). The rooms are well-equipped and have a modern/bohemian look, although some of the facilities could use a little maintenance. It's a safe walk to the village center—about 10 minutes—if you'd like to try other restaurants or enjoy live music in the evening. In short, it's the ideal place to go diving in the magnificent coral reef located just in front of the hotel at a low cost (about $50 for 2 hours) and, above all, to relax.

Très belle première expérience dans ce petit hôtel boutique avec restaurants à la carte et service personnalisé. Je recommande sans hésiter à ceux qui n'en peuvent plus des méga hôtels américanisés où règnent le bruit et le gaspillage alimentaire, car ici tout est fait à la demande et avec soin. Il faut savoir qu'il n'y a presque pas d'activités organisées ni animation durant la journée, aucun spectacle le soir et que le bar du lobby ferme à 23h (parfois même 22h!). Il n'y a que deux restaurants ouverts sur trois, et ce, en alternance (le service peut donc être assez long, mais cela en vaut la peine vu la qualité et la fraîcheur des plats servis). Les chambres sont bien équipées et présentent un look moderne/bohème, même si certaines installations manquent une peu d'entretien. Il est possible de se rendre sécuritairement au centre du village - environ 10 minutes de marche - si vous désirez essayer d'autres restaurants ou entendre des bands live en soirée. Bref, c'est l'endroit idéal pour aller plonger dans la magnifique barrière de corail située juste en face de l'hôtel à peu de frais (environ 50$ pour 2 heures) et, surtout, se reposer.

A peaceful and rejuvenating stay 🌊 We spent three nights at the Fives Oceanfront and I must emphasize the exceptional quality of the staff: always smiling, attentive, and professional. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is calm and relaxing—perfect for unwinding, far from the hustle and bustle and parties. The alcoholic drinks are excellent, as is the wine, which is well-selected and served with care. The beach is a real gem: very well-maintained, free of sargassum seaweed, and above all, it offers a pleasant surprise—you can walk for a long time along it, which is rare and very enjoyable. A few points for improvement ☀️ The lack of shade is noticeable: the hotel faces directly into the sun, and shaded areas are limited, which can make the days less comfortable for those seeking a bit of coolness. The lounge chairs are very comfortable by the pool and on the beach, unlike those in the restaurants. The ground-floor pool is often monopolized by towels placed on the lounge chairs… even when no one is there, which reduces actual access. In contrast, the 6th-floor pool is a haven of tranquility: a more serene atmosphere, softer music, and a magnificent view. The food is excellent—fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious—but the menu lacks variety. For a seven-night stay, it gets a bit repetitive… phew!

Un séjour paisible et ressourçant 🌊

Nous avons passé trois nuits au Fives Oceanfront et je tiens à souligner la qualité exceptionnelle du personnel : toujours souriant, attentionné et professionnel. L’ambiance générale de l’hôtel est calme et reposante — parfait pour se détendre, loin de l’agitation et des fêtes.

Les boissons alcoolisées sont excellentes, tout comme le vin, bien sélectionné et servi avec soin. La plage est un véritable bijou : très bien entretenue, sans sargasses, et surtout, elle offre une belle surprise — on peut y marcher longtemps, ce qui est rare et très agréable.

Quelques points à améliorer ☀️

Le manque d’ombre est notable : l’hôtel fait directement face au soleil, et les espaces ombragés sont limités, ce qui peut rendre les journées moins confortables pour ceux qui cherchent un peu de fraîcheur. Les chaises sont très confortable piscine et plage contrairement dans les restos.

La piscine du rez-de-chaussée est souvent monopolisée par des serviettes posées sur les chaises longues… sans que les gens soient présents, ce qui réduit l’accès réel.

En revanche, la piscine du 6e étage est un havre de tranquillité : ambiance plus sereine, musique plus douce, et une vue magnifique.

La nourriture est excellente — fraîche, bien présentée, savoureuse — mais le menu manque de variété. Pour un séjour de sept nuits, cela devient un peu répétitif… ouf!
