I would like to highlight the particularly friendly and dedicated welcome from the Reef Coco Beach staff. The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and the climate is warm. A small drawback: during the sargace (seaweed) season, the hotel removes it from the beach but stores it nearby behind the parking lot. Depending on the wind direction and the heat, it can smell bad. We didn't swim on this beach, which stirs up too much seaweed. Unlike other hotels on the coast, this one is in the town of Carmen de Playa, so the touristy and colorful Fifth Avenue is a 5-minute walk away. A small inconvenience on this avenue: the touts are annoying, especially since they identify the hotel wristband and want you to buy it. The room is modern, air-conditioned, and well-maintained. The view from almost all the rooms overlooks the interior courtyard with a long pool. It's beautiful. Guests come with their families, and it's quiet in July. There is a lack of shows, as for the activities, it is mainly the outdoor ones, therefore paid. I highly recommend the day diving in a cenote + in a cave + in the sea. Great experience. Catamaran activity not bad either except that the island of Mujeres, whose beaches are magnificent, is crowded with people. The buffet is varied and there is nothing missing. It is generally well prepared. The service is impeccable and warm. The bars (3 without supplement $) serve as much as you can and no need for a tip. I recommend the reef coco beach, where I mainly remember the kindness of the staff.

L'hotel est bien entretenu, propre et le climat est chaleureux. Petit bémol, en saison des sargaces (algues), l'hôtel les retire de la plage mais les entreprose à proximité derrière le stationnement. Selon la direction du vent et avec la chaleur, ça peut sentir mauvais. Nous ne nous sommes pas baigné sur cette plage qui brasse trop d'algues.
Contrairement aux autres hôtels de la côte, celui-ci est dans la ville de Carmen de playa, aussi la cinquième avenue touristique et colorée est à 5 min à pied. Un petit désagrément sur cette avenue, les rabatteurs sont achalents, surtout qu'ils identifient le bracelet de l'hôtel et veulent qu'on achète.
La chambre est moderne, climatisée et bien entretenue. La vue de presque toutes les chambres donne sur la cour intérieure avec une longue piscine. C'est beau.
Les clients viennent en famille et c'est calme en juillet.
Il manque un peu de spectacles, quant aux activités c'est surtout celles de l'extérieur, donc payantes.
Je recommande vivement la journée plongée dans un cenote + dans une grotte+ dans la mer. Belle expérience.
Activité catamaran pas mal aussi sauf que l'île mujeres, dont les plages sont magnifiques, est bondée de monde.
Le buffet est varié et il ne manque de rien. C'est généralement bien préparé. Le service est impeccable et chaleureux. Les bars (3 sans supplément $) servent à volonté et pas besoin de tip.
Je recommande le reef coco beach don't je retiens principalement la gentillesse du personnel.

Nice trip but nothing special. The hotel is clean but old, the rooms are small and noisy, the beach is very beautiful but it lacks chairs and especially umbrellas. The proximity to 5th Avenue is very interesting to be able to go out and eat Mexican food, a big plus Nice trip but we will not return
