The weather was perfect. The food was good at the buffet and snack bar. The pools and the grounds were perfect and clean. The beach was nearby. We really enjoyed the souvenir vendors on the beach. All the staff were very friendly. We are repeat customers and will be back soon.

La température était toujours au rendez-vous. La bouffe était bonne au buffet et au snack bar. Les piscines, le site parfait et propre. La plage à proximité. Bien aimé les vendeurs de souvenir sur la plage. Tout le personnel était très aimable. Nous étions clients répétitifs et nous y retournons bientôt.

All-inclusive with very little to do on-site or nearby. Limited activities. Clean place, but starting to show its age. The rooms are very well air-conditioned and quiet, but there are no chairs for relaxing or getting dressed. Ordinary bathroom. The staff varied greatly, from exceptional to terrible to indifferent. The breakfast buffet was almost always the same every day. The rest of the day was average in quality and variety. Not many labels on the dishes (beware of allergies). The beach was very nice. Plenty of chairs at the beach and pool. No need to reserve spots. The bars are all outdoors and serve generic house-made bottled drinks and lots of premixed drinks. However, the service was quick. The best aspect was the quiet pool with its own bar and excellent service; it was very uncrowded. The three restaurants are good, but the staff are in a hurry to get you out. Evening activities are not very engaging, and there's no club. The hotel could do with changing their outdated sound system; the terrible sound encourages people to leave early. In general, a good place for a first time in the south or to recover from fatigue, not for going to party.

Tout inclus avec très peu à faire sur place ou à proximité. Activités limitées. Endroit propres mais commence a montrer son âge. Les chambres sont climatisés très bien et silencieuses mais pas de chaise pour relaxer ou s'habiller. Salle de bain ordinaire. Le personel variait beaucoup d'exceptionel à terrible à indifférent. Buffet du matin presque toujours identique chaque jour. le reste de la journé moyen en qualité et variété ok. Pas beaucoup d'étiquette sur les plats (attention aux allergies). La plage était très bien. Plein de chaise a la plage et a la piscine. Pas besoin de réserver les places. Les bars sont tous dehors et avec Bouteille de boissons maisons génériques et beaucoup de pré-mix. Par contre, service rapide. La meilleur aspet fut la piscine tranquille avec son propre bar avec excellent service très peu occupé. Les 3 restos sont bons mais avec service pressé de vous sortir. Activités de soirées pas très envoutantes, pas de club. L'hotel pourrait changer leurs système de son passé sa vie utile au son terrible encourageant les gens a partir plus tot. En générale, bon endroit pour une première fois dans le sud ou pour rattraper la fatigue et non pas pour aller faire la fête.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and generous. They gave us a lovely room with a sea view. The toilet had problems every day, but the staff came to fix it. They also repaired the broken patio door, the broken shower head, and the leaking air conditioner. It was very windy at the beach in the afternoon, so we enjoyed the large pool instead. They use a lot of insecticide, so we didn't see any lizards or insects. Honestly, we missed Cuba and its wonderful beaches during this trip. The VH Grand Ventana lacked a certain exotic feel and Dominican culture. The entertainment was decent: bingo, karaoke, DJ, aqua aerobics... The Dominican dance show in the evening was very beautiful!

Hotel très propre et personnel attachant et généreux. Ils nous ont mis dans une belle chambre avec vue sur la mer. La toilette avait des problèmes chaque jour mais le personnel venait le regler. Ils ont aussi réparer la porte patio brisée, le pomeau de douche brisé également et l'air climatisé qui coulait. Très venteux à la plage en pm donc nous avons profiter de la grande piscine à la place. Ils mettent beaucoup d'insecticide donc nous n'avons pas vu de lezards et d'insectes. Cuba et ses plages merveilleuses nous a manqué durant ce voyage honnêtement. Ça manquait de dépaysement et de culture dominicaine au VH Grand Ventana. Animation correct: bingo, karaoke, dj, aquaforme... Le spectacle de danse dominicaine en soirée était très beau!
