Vh Gran Ventana Beach Resort

We stayed at this hotel for 11 days. Overall, we enjoyed it, except for a few minor drawbacks. The lobby bar is awful. It feels more like a takeout counter. There's no display of the drinks offered; wine is served in cardboard or plastic cups—if you're lucky! (as are all the other drinks). There's no atmosphere for happy hour. No musicians, no music, nothing. Also, the room is poorly lit, especially in the bathroom, and there aren't many electrical outlets. On the other hand, the cleanliness of the resort, the beach, the friendliness of the staff, and the quality of the buffet are all worth considering. There are also plenty of chairs at the pool and on the beach, and they're in good condition.

Nous avons séjourné 11 jours à cet hôtel. En général, nous avons bien aimé sauf quelques petits points négatifs. Le « lobby bar » est affreux. On se croirait à un comptoir « pour emporter ». Il n’y a aucun étalage des boissons offertes, on nous offre du vin dans des verres en carton ou en plastique — quand tu es chanceux! (ainsi que tous les autres drinks). Il n’y a aucune ambiance pour le 5 à 7. Aucun musicien, aucune musique, rien. Aussi, il manque d’éclairage dans la chambre, surtout dans la salle de bain, et il n’y a pas beaucoup de prises de courant. Par contre, la propreté du site, la plage, la gentillesse du personnel et la qualité du buffet sont à considérer. Il y a aussi beaucoup de chaises à la piscine et à la plage et elles sont en bonne condition.

The resort is beautiful, with exceptional vegetation; however, there's nowhere to sit comfortably, either in the lobby or in the rooms, and no table to play cards under cover—it rained all week. There was no entertainment in the lobby before dinner, like a singer or anything. We couldn't swim in the sea because the waves were too big (it was the rainy season). Locals come on weekends and overrun the resort. The à la carte restaurants are only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays precisely because the buffets and the pool are packed. So, no swimming in the sea or the pool. Luckily, there's the adults-only area, which is further away and very, very quiet. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Le site est très beau, végétation exceptionnelle, cependant aucun endroit pour s’assoir confortablement tant au lobby que dans les chambres, pas de table pour jouer aux cartes à l’abri de la pluie, il a plut toute la semaine. Aucun petit spectacle au lobby avant le souper, style chansonnier ou autre. Nous n’avons pas pus nous baigner dans la mer trop de grosse vague (saison des pluies). Les locaux viennent le week-end et envahissent le site, les restaurants à la carte sont ouverts seulement le vendredi samedi et dimanche justement parce que le buffets est pris d’assauts, ainsi que la piscine. Donc pas de baignade à la mer ni dans la piscine, heureusement qu’il y a le secteur pour adulte seulement qui est plus loin et très très tranquille. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable.

Very satisfied, beautiful place, close to the airport, good and varied food. For us, who like to relax and go to bed early, the music was a bit loud in the evening, but luckily it stops at 11:00 PM. We recommend it.

très satisfait, belle endroit, près de l'aéroport, nourriture bonne et varié, pour nous qui aiment se reposer et ce couché tôt la musique trop forte le soir mais termine a 23:00 par chance, on recommande

We had a wonderful, very relaxing holiday; everything was perfect. It wasn't crowded, which suited us perfectly. The beach is truly beautiful with plenty of chairs in the sun and shade. I would gladly go back.

Nous avons passé de très belles vacances très relaxante, tout été parfait. Il n'y avait pas beaucoup de monde et ça nous convenez parfaitement,la plage est vraiment très belle et avec beaucoup de chaises au soleil ou à l'ombre. J'y retournerai avec plaisir
