The hotel is highly regarded for the overall cleanliness of its facilities and rooms, as well as its beautiful, long beach, ideal for walking. The food is considered good and varied, and the staff is often described as friendly, smiling, and helpful, with some members speaking French. However, it is sometimes mentioned that the rooms appear dated and could use renovations. Furthermore, the establishment is occasionally perceived as being over-equipped for its four-star rating.

Disappointment
Déception
I sincerely believe this hotel is a 3-star. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed from the moment we arrived. The beach was inaccessible due to sargassum seaweed, and this remained the case throughout our entire stay. We only had the pool, which was fortunately large enough for all the guests. This was one of the resort's strong points. As for the buffet, there wasn't a great variety of food. Some dishes were too salty and didn't seem fresh. We often ate at the snack bar for this reason. The à la carte restaurants were mediocre; the choices were good, but what we ordered was mostly unsatisfactory, with meat that was too rubbery and too salty. I can, however, confirm that from the international menu, we repeatedly ordered the garlic and mushroom prawns, which we found excellent. And from the Italian menu, the fettuccine carbonara was amazing. Our room had a rusty shower. We did have access to activities with Air Transat representatives. We chose the monkeys and the cenote. A bit pricey. We left at 10:15 am, finally starting the attraction around noon, and returned around 3:45 pm. All this without a meal included; we had to pay extra if we wanted something to eat. The price of a meal was exorbitant if we wanted to order during the activity. In short, I wouldn't return to this hotel. This resort needs several improvements, including staff supervision and customer service. The menu should be reviewed. The rooms also need some renovations.
More...

The price-quality ratio is acceptable, but it needs renovations and some TLC.
The hotel has standard accessible facilities and is well-structured. Unfortunately, the beach is eroding... There is much more entertainment at the neighboring resorts/hotels.

The hotel advertises itself as a 4-star, but in reality, it's more like a 3-star. The staff is not very friendly. The buffet has limited variety, but the à la carte restaurants are excellent. The gym equipment is completely outdated; the free weights are rusty, and the machines are broken and non-functional. The room was generally nice; it was clean and cute. However, the mattress is hard, there's often no hot water in the shower (every night), and if there is hot water, it's scalding hot—no way to get it lukewarm. During sargassum season, unlike many other hotels, they don't collect it, so swimming in the sea is impossible. There was seaweed three feet high (if not more) for about 100 meters. Otherwise, we still had a nice stay; the pool was good.
