No loud music, exactly what I'm looking for: rest and quiet. Perfect for me.
Pas de musique à-tue-tête, exactement ce que je recherche, le repos, le calme. Parfait pour moi.
Thank you to all the staff for their kindness and dedication. These people work miracles with what little they have; thank you to Julio (the butler), Michael (the bartender), Yailin (the head waitress), Mariano and all those who work behind the scenes to ensure our stay is pleasant, in this very difficult socio-political context.
Merci a tout le personnel, pour leur gentillesse et leur dévouement. Ces personnes font des miracles avec le peu qu ils ont; merci à Julio (le majordome), Michael (le barman), Yailin (responsable du service aux tables), Mariano et tous ceux qui travaillent dans l ombre pour faire en sorte que notre séjour soit agréable, dans ce contexte sociopolitique des plus difficile.

A clear lack of resources to maintain this hotel as it should be. The dilapidation is blatant ... moreover, the presence of very many naturists in one of the two swimming pools, greatly reduces the attractions of Villa Iguana: it should perhaps be noted a little better in the hotel's presentation sheet. For the low price paid ($714/person), I did not expect miracles, but not to this extent! Finally, even if the ocean and the weather were at the top, the complete absence of a beach and the very limited food, darkened the picture quite a bit ... we rested a lot, that was already something, and we were happy to come back ... to eat better !!! Positive: Sun, sea and temperature Negative: Far too much to be all described ... not recommended!
Un manque évident de moyens pour entretenir cet hôtel comme il le faudrait. Le délabrement est flagrant ... de plus, la présence de très nombreux naturistes dans l'une des deux piscines, réduit de beaucoup les attraits de Villa Iguana : il faudrait peut-être le signaler un peu mieux dans la fiche de présentation de l'hôtel. Pour le petit prix payé (714$/personne), je ne m'attendais pas à des miracles, mais pas à ce point la ! Enfin, même si l'océan et le temps étaient au top, l'absence complète de plage et la nourriture très limitée, assombrissaient pas mal le tableau ... nous nous sommes beaucoup reposés, c'était déjà cela, et nous étions heureux de revenir ... pour mieux manger !!! Positif : Soleil, mer et température Négatif : Beaucoup trop pour être tous décrits ... à déconseiller !

Much has changed since our last stay at this hotel. The staff is generally very friendly, but there seems to be a lack of maintenance of the facilities. Clean nonetheless, but very little variety at the buffet. Too bad because this was a place with a lot of potential. Positive: The staff is very good, especially at the Ranchon. The rooms are quite clean. Close to the airport. Negative: Little variety at the buffet. Lots of flies in the closed dining room and sometimes even in the food... Lack of maintenance of the infrastructure. Unlikely to return.
Beaucoup changé depuis notre dernier séjour à cet hôtel. Le personnel est en général très sympathique mais il semble y avoir un manque d' entretien des installations. Propre malgré tout mais très peu de variétés au buffet.

Les chambres sont assez propres.

Manque d'entretien des infrastructures.
