The hotel was ordinary, the buffet repetitive, and the Mediterranean restaurant not great. The beaches were unusable due to seaweed. We booked excursions through the hotel, which were fine, except I was scammed by a member of staff on the Cozumel excursion. I gave him my credit card to pay for souvenir photos, which I ultimately didn't buy because he said my card wouldn't work. At the end of the day, I discovered that my card had been charged $235 for photos that cost $25. So, I advise you not to pay by card for excursions.

Lovely little resort in good condition. Special attention is paid to the evening shows, which are well worth seeing. There was a lot of sargassum seaweed on the beach, but it was still pleasant. The food was good; the Mexican specialties were the best. Well located, highly recommended!
