Adequate for the price

We went as a family for 12 days. The positives: - Very small resort, so everything is close by (perfect for older people); - Located in town, making it easy to go out for walks and see the locals; - When we were there, the resort was quite quiet, not too crowded; - À la carte restaurant, the international menu is excellent. - Small café and dessert area open all day; - Decent food, even if repetitive; - Beautiful beach for long walks, beachfront restaurants to discover on the left (they should level the sand where our chairs were located, but they were starting to do it when we left); Negative points: - Rooms need refreshing, among other things, the bottom of the bedroom doors has a gap of at least 2 inches (at garden level), welcoming insects, reptiles, and other creatures, but hey, it's the south, so you get used to it; - If there are too many people at once, the resort will definitely be unbearable; there's a lack of shaded chairs both on the beach and by the pool; - On the beach, you'll be harassed to an unprecedented degree... 6 times in 1 hour for braids in your hair (and I'm not even exaggerating); - The same goes for inside the resort with their presentations for VIP membership and their excursions; - The cigarette and cigar smoke is everywhere, you smoke all week long, whether you want to or not, both outside on the grounds and in the bar—people smoke everywhere.... I'd say that's my biggest complaint... I couldn't watch the evening shows without having smoke blown in my face... In short, it's a good place for the price and for someone who prefers to have everything close by. I think this hotel for a week isn't worth more than $1300.

More... Less...Les points positifs :
- Resort très petit donc tout se trouve à proximité (parfait pour les personnes d'un certain âge);
- Resort se trouvant en ville donc facilité de sortie pour promenade et voir le peuple;
- Au moment où nous sommes allées Resort assez tranquille pas trop de monde;
- Restaurant à la carte, l'international est excellent.
- Petit coin cafés et desserts ouvert toute la journée;
- Nourritures appréciables même si redondant;
- Belle plage pour de grandes marches, restaurants au bord de plage à découvrir sur la gauche (devrait reniveler le sable où son situé nos chaises, mais il commençait à le faire à notre départ);
Points négatifs :
- Chambres doivent être rafraîchies, entre autre le bas de la porte des chambres a une ouverture d'au moins 2 pouces (au rée de jardin), bienvenue aux insectes, reptiles et autres, mais bon reste que c'est le sud alors on s'y fait tout de même;
- Si beaucoup de monde en même temps le resort sera invivable assurément, manque de chaises à l'ombre autant à la plage qu'à la piscine;
- À la plage vous serai harcelé à un niveau jamais vécu... 6x en 1h pour des tresses dans les cheveux (et je n'exagère même pas);
- Il en est de même à l'intérieur du Resort avec leur présentation pour être membre VIP ou leurs excursions;
- La fumée de cigarettes et cigares, tu fumes toute la semaine, et ce, sans le vouloir autant dehors sur le site qu'au bar les gens fument partout.... Je dirais que c'est mon point le plus négatif... pas capable de regarder des spectacles le soir sans se faire souffler aux visages...
En résumé, bon endroit rapport qualité/prix et pour une personne qui préfère avoir tout à proximité. Je crois que cet hôtel pour une semaine ne vaut pas plus que 1300 $.

A warning to parents of teenage girls

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with a 21-year-old employee who tries to seduce teenage girls (underage). For example, when my daughter (16 years old) was alone at the gym, he approached her, telling her she was beautiful, making sexually suggestive jokes, and asking for her Instagram. He did the same thing with other underage girls on the property. He's very charming. He even arranged to meet my daughter and a friend (17 years old) in a secluded spot in the middle of the night. Although the security guards are keeping an eye on him, the resort isn't taking the situation seriously. So, I'm not telling you not to go, but be vigilant. Otherwise, the à la carte restaurants are very good, the buffet is average, the room was nice and large, but the air conditioning wasn't working, the beach is beautiful for those who like waves, the pool is large but needs renovations, there's only one bar so you have to be patient when it's busy, the evening entertainment is good, and overall the resort is beautiful.
Nous avons malheureusement eu une mauvaise expérience avec un employé de 21 ans, qui tente de séduire les adolescentes (mineures). Par exemple, quand ma fille (16 ans) était seule au gym, il est venu la voir pour lui dire qu'elle est belle, faire des blagues à connotation sexuelle, lui demander pour son Instagram. Il a fait la même chose avec d'autres mineures sur le site. Il est très séduisant. Il a même donné rendez-vous à ma fille et une amie (17 ans) dans un endroit isolé au milieu de la nuit. Bien que les gardiens de sécurité l'ont à l'oeil, le resort ne prend pas la situation au sérieux. Donc, je ne vous dit pas de ne pas y aller, mais soyez vigilants. Sinon, les restos à la carte sont très bons, buffet moyen, belle grande chambre, mais air climatisé qui ne fourni pas, belle plage pour ceux qui aiment les vagues, grande piscine, mais qui a besoin de rénovations, seulement un bar donc doit être patient quand très achalandé, belle animation en soirée, beau site en général.

Two weeks, August 4-18, 2026. Several repairs needed, especially in the rooms (door, patio door, TV). Half the staff didn't smile. They seemed unhappy (perhaps underpaid?). The food was very average. The air conditioning was very noisy in the room. The key card for room access didn't always work! * Santo, Santa, and a few others did a good job. A 3.5-star hotel.
Deux semaines 4-18 aout 2026. Plusieurs réparations a faire surtouit dans les chambres (porte, porte patio, tv). La moitié des employés ne sourient pas. On dirait qu'ils sont pas contents (peut etre pas bien payées ?). La nourriture tres moyenne. La climatisation tees bruyante dans la chambre. La carte magnétique pour entrer dans la chambre ne fonctionne pas toujojurs ! * Santo, Santa et qqs autres traaillent bien. Un 3 * et demi.
