Great experience despite not having access to the pool
Belle expérience malgré le fait que nous n'avons pas accès a la piscine
No one informed us that the pool was closed during our stay. Had we been told, we would have chosen a different hotel. We received no compensation.
Personne nous a informé que la piscine n'était pas ouverte pendant notre séjour. Si cela nous avait été mentionné nous aurions pris un autre hôtel. Nous n'avons eu aucune compensation.

Positives: Very beautiful, long, and wide beach, allowing everyone to find a chair. Very good and varied restaurants, very convenient to book via the app. Drinking water dispensers on each floor of the room blocks and bars. Negatives: Main pool unavailable during our stay (this was stated on the website), but no alternative except the children's pool. We had requested two single beds, but upon arrival, we were told it required an upgrade of US$40 per night. It's possible to visit the sister hotel, Viva Tangerine, but there's no shuttle service (you have to take a taxi for US$90 round trip or rent your own vehicle). Vendors on the beach are quite pushy. Beware of timeshares!

Possibilité de visiter l'hotel-soeur Viva Tangerine, mais aucun service de navette (doit prendre taxi à 90$ US aller-retour ou louer son propre vehicule). Vendeurs itinérants sur la plage assez insistants. Attention au time sharing!

Overall, I had a wonderful week. The food was very good, both at the buffet and in the restaurants. The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable, I had hot water, and the air conditioning worked perfectly (although a bit noisy, but I slept with earplugs). Being more of a "beach" person than a "pool" person, I can say that the beach was beautiful, very calm in the morning with a few waves in the afternoon. You can take long walks there. However, the chairs are arranged in several rows in the same spot under palm trees, and there are no palapas, so there isn't much privacy. The only negative point I can mention is the constant music, both on the beach and at the pool (I wore earplugs to read). I should also mention that locals come to the hotel on weekends and aren't very friendly.
En général, j'ai passé une très belle semaine. La nourriture était très bonne autant au buffet qu'aux restaurants. La chambre était bien, le lit était très confortable, j'avais de l'eau chaude et le climatiseur fonctionnait parfaitement (quoiqu'un peu bruyant mais je dormais avec des bouchons). Étant de type ''plage'' plutôt que ''piscine'', je peux affirmer que la plage était magnifique, très calme le matin et un peu de vagues en après-midi. Vous pouvez y prendre de longues marches. Par contre, les chaises sont disposées en plusieurs lignes au même endroit sous des palmiers et il n'y a pas de palapas, donc, pas trop d'intimité. Le seul côté négatif que je puisse mentionner est la musique omniprésente autant à la plage qu'à la piscine (je portais mes bouchons pour lire). Je devrais également mentionner que les locaux viennent à l'hôtel la fin de semaine et ne sont pas très agréables.
