The Italian and Mexican restaurants were a highlight. The resort is very well-maintained and clean. Swimming in the ocean is difficult; the waves are powerful and dangerous. There's no bar in the lobby, so in the evening, we had to go to the pool to get a drink and then return to the lobby to stay up late.

It's worth what I paid. No more, no less.

Overall, the hotel is reasonable. The staff really saves the day with their friendliness. The activities offered are interesting… there's plenty of action! The bar is quick and efficient, with a wide selection of drinks. However, if you're hoping to get drunk or tipsy, forget it. Their alcohol is very cheap. The vodka barely burns your throat, that's how bad it is. Be warned, the water there is not drinkable at all. You have to check the water dispensers. On the other hand, there's more alcohol than water there! The suite we booked was really comfortable and quite clean. The only downside was that the shower was broken; we had to use the shower handle, and the seal leaked, so there was water everywhere. Regarding the sleeping area, I don't understand how or why, but there were tiny ants—or at least that's what I'm trying to tell myself—walking on the walls, the bedside table, and our sheets. The beach is sublime, breathtakingly beautiful… if you look straight ahead. Yes, indeed, if you accidentally glance at a con artist, you're done for. They're everywhere, trying to sell you scarves, hats, sunglasses, jewelry, foot massages, and even alcohol. Honestly, avoid it because it's deliberately overpriced. And I don't recommend the manicure/pedicure; they don't clean the instruments between clients, and God only knows what bacteria might be on them. A good tip for Canadians: ask to pay in RDD (Dutch Djiboutian pedicure) and not USD; you'll save a few dollars. Overall, it's worth $3,000 for two people. If you're paying more… go somewhere else. On the other hand, 9/10 for customer service; they're so kind and attentive, and most of them speak English. Have a great trip!

More... Less...Le bar est rapide et efficace, beaucoup de choix de boissons. Si par contre vous espérez devenir chaud ou soûl, oubliez ça. Leur alcool est très cheap. La vodka ne brûle pas vraiment la gorge, c’est pour vous dire.
Attention, l’eau là-bas n’est pas potable du tout. Il faut voir que dans les machines à eau. Par contre, il y a plus de bar à alcool que d’eau là-bas !
La suite que l’on a prise était vraiment bien confortable, plus tôt propre. Seul point négatif, la douche était brisée, on a dû utiliser la poignée de douche, et le joint fuit donc Ilya de l’eau partout. Concernant la zone des lits, je ne comprends pas comment ni pourquoi, Ilya des mini-fourmis ou du moins c’est ce que j’essaie de me faire croire qui se promène sur les murs, la table de chevet et nos draps.
La plage est sublime, d’une beauté… si tu regardes tout droit devant. Oui oui, en effet, si tu tournes la tête accidentellement vers un arnaqueur, tu es fait comme un rat. Il y en a partout, te vendre des foulards, des chapeaux, des lunettes, des bijoux, des massages de pied et même de l’alcool. Honnêtement, évitez parce que ça coûte délibérément cher. Et la manicure-pédicure, je vous la déconseille, ils ne lavent pas les instruments entre chaque personne, Dieu seul sait quelle bactérie se trouve dessus.
Un bon conseil pour les Canadiens, demandez à payer en RDD et non en USD, vous sauverez quelques dollars…
Dans l’ensemble, ça vaut 3000 $ pour 2 personnes. Si vous payez plus… allez ailleurs.
En revanche, 9/10 le service à la clientèle, ils sont tellement gentils et à l’écoute et la majorité parle anglais…

Sunshine, courteous staff, plenty of lounge chairs, varied and generous meals – everything was perfect. The room (Amnesia suite) was functional, spacious, and clean. Just steps from a shopping center and 20 minutes from the airport.
Soleil, employés courtois, chaises longues en quantité suffisante, repas variés et copieux, tout était au rendez-vous. La chambre (suite amnesia) était fonctionnelle, vaste, propre. À quelques pas d'un centre commercial, et 20 minutes de l'aéroport.

Great experience despite not having access to the pool
Belle expérience malgré le fait que nous n'avons pas accès a la piscine
No one informed us that the pool was closed during our stay. Had we been told, we would have chosen a different hotel. We received no compensation.
Personne nous a informé que la piscine n'était pas ouverte pendant notre séjour. Si cela nous avait été mentionné nous aurions pris un autre hôtel. Nous n'avons eu aucune compensation.
